  • We travelled to the south of Spain to stalk for Mouflon Sheep (Ovis aries musimon). Between Olive - and Cork trees we found them on rocky ground. The Mouflon is the only wild sheep in Europe and it is the smallest one as well. With a shoulder height of around 90 cm or three foot they way up to 60kg. They are a beautiful species and highly desired among hunters across the globe. We were fortunate to hunt two Rams on our recent trip to Spain. We shot the first Mouflon at a little unter 140 meters and the second one at 244 meters.
    Our Equipment
Bullet of choice was the Speed Tip Professional from RWS. Its a long range, fragmentation bullet with an extreme flat trajectory.
Caliber of choice was the 300 Winchester Magnum.
Rifle of choice was the modular Sauer 404.
Optic of choice was the Zeiss V8 1,8-14x50 Scope.
Make sure to watch the whole Video - the Bonus material at the end is fantastic.
