To boot their customer service has been excellent over the years. Mix of personal, and business. I usually have headphones in 14-16 hours a day, yes jabras are comfortable enough for sleeping.🤣 7 pro's call quality is bad bad bad. But they are comfy, and sound quality is superb. ANC drowns out a 50 db portable ac. Elite 4 active tips were to hard for my ears. Jabra sent me some tips for the 75ts that I use with them.
Elite 7 Pros are definitely the better choice for phone calls in my opinion. I still personally think the 75t were the best earbuds Jabra released, but that's just my opinion. I might pick these up eventually as I really like Jabra earbuds overall. Thanks for another great review 💯💪
My 75ts are my go-to for the gym and most other active or outdoor activities. I get tempted by Jabra’s new stuff, like the Elite 7 Pros, but nothing has yet convinced me that it’s a worthwhile upgrade.
From my ears the elite 4 active has a little bit of background noise and bright vocals, the elite 7 just sound muddy with no background noise. I would say I like to listen to the elite 4 more.
I've had awful luck with Jabras... one earbud dropping volume to almost nothing. Happened to first pair years ago and nothing fixed it. Just gave them another try with the Elite 7 Pros and had the same exact issue happen within a couple days without any solution so immediately returned them.
exactly the same issue I've had with my Elite 4's -one earbud dropping volume to almost nothing and a ridiculous white noise . I returned it and got a refund
Idk why NOBODY else has had these problems over the years with Jabra products, I've run into the same issues too!!! My old Jabras just died out of nowhere. Returned them, got another pair. Same damn thing happened. Over and over again for like 3 pairs in a row. I never trusted Jabra ever again. Terrible durability
so it's more like an updated elite 4 than a more price friendly elite 7? because it's getting kinda confusing, i get it when they launch the 4 and 7, i get the positioning they trying to put in the 4 competes with galaxy buds 2, Senny's CX, etc, and the 7 will suitably compete with buds pro, liberty 3 pro, Senny's cx plus, etc, and then there's this 5 came, and it's kinda fill a gap that doest exist
Jabra Elite 5 have serious glitch in it's ANC microphone. When I make the ANC mode on, they have terrible noise. When I turn the ANC mode off, it disappears. Thanks to the Jabra Support team for sending me another troubled ones! I will never buy Jabra again.
When Google Assistant is selected as the Voice Assistant, does your right bud's double and triple button presses work as expected? Mine do not perform their assigned actions when the button is pressed, they instead skip to the next song when audio is playing even though they were assigned/customised to switch Sound Modes. Please try if it is the same for you since I bought 2 pairs of the Elite 5s and both have the same issue.
I have a pair of the 85t and while I adore them, I have found little things like not able to have one headphone at a time as well as its battery life being pretty poor at about 3-4 hours with ANC or hearthrough on. I'm wondering if these are worth the upgrade or should I wait another generation with 12mm drivers to keep that sound quality up.
This dont work well on android phone. You cant answer call using the physical button in any apps and only works on native calls for android. Its more optimize on iphones.
I regret my purchase. The sound quality is less better than the Jabra elite 3 I got, they totally removed the low and mid bass. The functionality are less versatile.
You aren't alone. I have the 7 Pros and even indoors, the other end always says that I sound muffled or like in a tunnel. I got the Elite 5s and they have better call quality both indoors and outdoors (with wind). I can confirm this personal claim since I recorded the mics from both buds in all scenarios. My only gripe with the 5s is the issue with the right bud's button controls not functioning as expected when Google Assistant is selected as the Voice Assistant - the double and triple presses don't perform their assigned actions. I bought 2 pairs of the Elite 5 and they both have the same issue. The single press and press and hold work as expected on the right bud though.

@@molimits2 if you don’t need ANC I’d say the Elite 3. Cheaper option & probably the closest to the 75t as far as sound quality and bass

I love my elite active 3 they now have anc but only on the black pair for some reason. 🤷♂️
