I got this on a trade for an old heli. Love it. Been so durable. As I just bash with it I love the solid links. So much more durable. Your tune is RIPPING!
@@marathon8649 yeah. Took me years to learn. Then you learn low end and idle. You're golden. Unless it's a Traxxas nitro engine that is. I could never get them ones dialed in 100%
For a ready to run, tlr has a nice truggy . Runs fast with the 28 in it. I like it when it Flys. Thanks for the video. Can't wait to see a lot more of your toys.
I'm wanting to get into RC as a hobby and I've concluded (after watching many of your videos) that 1/8 scale to me is a little small and 1/5 scale is just too large (stowage and transportation). The truggy on the other hand (some have equated them to 1/7 scale) seems to be the right size. Not too small and not too big.
@@JoshuawhuIf he said 1/8th scale is too small, why recommend a smaller scale like 1/10th scale? 1/8th - 1/7th scale is the best scale for RC, hands down.
Find out what your local tracks run. 1/8 scale nitro outdoors is relatively rare depending on location. Most tracks are going to have a slew of 1/10 classes.
Yo carbon, if youre in NC I fly race drones I'd love to link with ya and get some cool drone follow footage. Also, I know about all the tracks and stuff around here if you was interested. Love all ya vids and cars man.
2 nitrage 5.2 ,Boss 😀 Let me know if you go forward with cnc gears for nitrage 5.2 gearbox , i might be interested , aldough i did not driwe my nitrage yet since i restored it , but i read somewhere that the big plastic sprocket with pin tends to go bad
All of your motors are tuned so well !! The sound is crisp!

Thanks for keeping nitro great!!!😊
I can tell that nitro is dialed in. Tune seems almost perfect. No bogging high rpms. Just right ‼️🤛
Rare right? So many buy nitro and don't know how to and don't have enough interest to spend time and learn how to tune properly.

Great video, like always. The car looks and runs amazing. Would it be nice if you could show us an after run protocol for a nitro engine.

Honestly don’t worry too much about size I love all the scales but 1/8 truggy handles more terrain 👌🏻

when you took off the pull start did you have to change the engine mounts to do the bump start? I am having a hard time finding engine mounts to do it
you can use TLR 4.0 motor mount , that’s what i did to mine
