Turkish coffee then an espresso martini.....did you sleep that night 😆. Turkey is fabulous. The people are so hospitable, and the amount of history is incredible. One of my favourite destinations ❤️
How easy was it to order food from the stalls and vendors (as opposed to restaurants)? Did you need to learn a few words of Turkish or did you basically just point to what you wanted? :) Also, are contactless payment methods popular there (tapping your card to a reader or using your phone)?
It’s easy enough even with no Turkish spoken. Just point! Always good to learn hello and thank you in any country you are traveling to. From what I remember, most places will accept card. But can’t remember if it’s insert or tap
A visa is only needed if you are staying longer than 30 days, otherwise it’s not necessary. I just traveled in September thinking the same thing. Paid $50, went to the airport and they said it’s not necessary lol.
Thanks Ashley! I’ll have to make a reel soon. It’s really simple anyway…sunscreen and moisturizer in the AM and for the PM its cleansing oil, face wash, retinol, and moisturizer!
👋🏻 if we weren’t walking, we used Uber the entire time we were there. No issues, very easy to get one because taxis also use the Uber app. Inexpensive as well 👍🏼
Mashallah mashallah marhaba marhaba love respect and support Turkey and it's beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂🇵🇰🇹🇷🥰😍. May Allah SWT bless Turkey and it's beautiful people from Pakistan 🙂🇵🇰🇹🇷🥰😍

You’re very welcome
Love it. Coming to Istanbul soon and I'm watching this vlog
Btw the bread you bought is called simit and it's famous in istanbul for being tasteless actually. Everywhere else in turkey it's a little sweet.

Yes 3 days is definitely enough! We stayed had a private room in Wabi Sabi hostel which is was clean and well located but also very small.

Thank you for watching! The palace is closed on Monday
@@eileensworld That's great, thank you.
Hi did you went on weekends? How much did you spend for 3 days?
I was there from Sunday to Thursday. I don’t when a final total but as you can see from the prices I from them video - it’s all pretty inexpensive!
Lovely. ^^One of the names of Istanbul is actually "City of the seven hills."
I didn’t know that! But it makes sense…I’m sure I had to walk up a couple of those hills 😒

Next time you should try Turkish specialties such as kebab and lahmacun.
For sure 👌🏼
I usually buy the visa at istanbul airport is cheaper. $30 vs $ 50 online 😊😊😊
That is good to know! I like to be prepared so if I always buy whatever I can ahead of time 😅.
I keep hearing that from the states you only need a visa if you're an official. Did they ask to see your visa?
Yes they did - it’s always best to check the US travel site before your trip to see the entry requirements
Thank you
🤘🏻
Did you have access to wifi everywhere like for using google maps to walk around or did u purchase a sim there for data?
I had a phone plan with Google Fi at the time so it worked internationally. If your phone has esim capabilities I would highly recommend that option
Great video. 👍
