I didn't really fancy the new silencer when you ran it in your garage but once on the road it really is a sweet sound and no noisier than the stock pot. But with the baffle out it sounds really meaty - like a Ténéré on steroids! I'm thinking of putting a Lextek on my himmy, which is a similar kind of sound to the Rooster, a little sharper maybe, especially with the baffle out. Sweet sound for a sweet bike. Ride safe buddy!
I am very happy with the tone of the exhaust. Sounds nice. I think performance has improved slightly with exhaust and intake modification. Still doing break in miles so haven't really rung it out yet. Ride smart, Ride safe!
80-95db idle then rev both OEM and Rooster with baffle. 90-105db idle then rev Rooster without baffle. I had it on video. Not sure how it didn't make the cut.👍
I do notice an improvement in performance. I'm still breaking bike in (about 400miles left to go) so no full throttle pulls yet or pulls to redline, but seems to have more torque and a little more HP. I think the exhaust and intake mod has helped. So far averaging 73.4 miles per gallon. The intake mod cost a few dollars for the steel plate. The exhaust was $185.00 USD plus tax on eBay.

Hi, is the new exhaust lighter?
Yes, about 2.5lbs or 1kg lighter.@@untamedsmiles1338
