Hey, folks! Just wanted to make a comment here so I don't leave you all in the dark like I used to. I said in a comment elsewhere on this video that I was aiming for the end of March with the next one. Obviously, I haven't quite hit that. Hour of Devastation has a *lot* of really important story beats, not just for the self-contained story, but for the overarching story for sets to come. So the video is, as each recent video seems to have been, longer than I anticipated. I want to keep it one video, instead of splitting it up like with Aether Revolt, so it's gonna be a little bit longer before it's done. Thank you all for your continued support! I really appreciate it! ❤️ Oh, and happy Easter, if you celebrate Easter!
I agree! I'd like to see more about what has become of the survivors of Naktamun. We learned a little bit in March of the Machine, but I'd love to see a full revisit.
Absolutely unbelievable that these videos only get a couple thousand views max. In my opinion this series is the best Magic Lore Series on RUclips by far. Please keep it up we really really appreciate it!
I’ve been following these videos since the beginning, and this is hands down the most engaging MTG Lore series on YT. Keep up the awesome work, can’t wait for the next one!
Amazing job!!! Don't worry about the length of the video, is really well done, is easy to see that you're taking out a lot of information for the sake of the length. The people here, like me, are probably really interested in the MTG multiverse, so 5 or 10 minutes more are not going to be annoying. Keep up with this amazing videos!!! and don't worry we understand that some videos require more time.
I like your takes to tell the story its simple yet rich of content from original story, i have read amonkhet story and i don't mind if you explain all event in trial of ambition (i think is best part) so maybe next video you can more explain or explore the event in the lore. Can't wait for next hour of devastating lore till it's climax at War of spark ;)
Also got interested in this cuz i bought from a friend i play with at FNM Neheb, the Eternal i loved the art,the quote ''This is what glory looks like.'' and the card is very strong as well, gotta make another deck with Neheb as the commander
I never was invested in MTG lore, but eversince I started watching your excelent summaries they've become one of the few things I look forward to! Absolutely fabulous :D
Glad that you're still here doing this narrative. I definitely want some backstory of the whole MTG since I'm new in this game and out of all the youtubers that does this, you're doing it really well and I hope that you will keep uploading the series, and probably add more story like the pre-mending era of MTG.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it! I'll probably get to pre-mending stuff eventually, but I plan on at least finishing the rest of the Bolas arc (through War of the Spark) first. :)
I love these awesome summaries I never looked into the lore until watching your videos and u keep me on the edge of my seat for the next story. Fantastic job and keep doing u man.
This is good lore. What I was looking for. Planning on running Desert of Desolation as this Nicol Bolas story as opposed to the illogical go here do this; one you missed things can’t kill the efreeti story it has i. The module
7:00 Chandra had never been into girls. Her crushes - and she’d had her fair share - were mostly the brawny (and decidedly male) types like Gids. But there had always been something about Nissa Revane specifically, something the two of them shared in that great chemical mix - arcing between them like one of Ral Zarek’s lightning bolts - that had thrilled her. From the moment they first met. Now everything’s different. It was over. Before it had ever had a chance to begin. Maybe, maybe they had missed their moment.” On Ravnica, in the wake of Gideon’s death and Bolas’, they had admitted to each other that they loved. But both of them knew deep down they were only speaking platonically.
So at what point in all this is the eldrazi god brought to amonkhet ? what then happens around this city when the threat of zombies is no longer a thing because they are all to busy worshiping?
*HELLO THERE* Got a few cards from this set, interesting one, like it Came to learn about it,don't rly know much Gotta have my dinner,a pizza while watching :D Edit:OH SO THIS NOT THE FIRST VIDEO OKAY GOING TO THAT EDIT AGAIN : ALRIGHT WATCHED IT NOW HERE
That's a good question! I try to get these out when I feel they're ready, as opposed to rushing them to fit a schedule, but I don't like making people wait, either. My goal is before the end of March, so we'll see if I can hit that. :)

Take your time, I really loved your videos, and they took a really big part on why I got into magic. Cheers from Brazil, mate ^^
Good luck!
I think Amonkhet has my favorite story of any single Magic block.
I had feel empathy for the people there
This plane is so fascinating it's so awesome that they were able to do ancient Egypt and I hope they can go back to it

"She wanted to help her because she was a freedom fighter"
God, I hate Chandra. She is every protagonist to a young adult novel ever.
She definitely can be like that, yeah. She has her good moments too, though.
