Eine legendäre Version von "Born under a bad sign" gab es 1978 von Paul Butterfield beim Rockpalst zu hören. An den Gitarren Buzz Feiten ( Butt Feiton Tuning!), Peter Atanasoff (später bei Tito and Tarantula). Ich war 14 und war Hin und Weg von dem, was die beiden da abdrückten. Das eine und andere Lick finde ich heute noch in meinem Spiel. Verrückt!
Regarding the "buffer pedal" idea before modeler/amp: I use an RC Booster since many years. For me it's the perfect buffer pedal with minimal coloration but still the ability to tweak treble/bass and gain/volume.
Sure! The speaker is at least 50% of the sound. If the speaker is perfect for you, you can get happy easily. …if not , it’s about to find an EQ setting that works, or it will be a compromise… A good speaker is as important as a good guitar…!
That works, but you should also try the internal Boost of AMP1. At lower boost settings it stays clean, at higher boost settings you’ll get some edge of breakup with a nice compression… Give it a try!
Hallo Thomas, leider wieder nicht die Untertitel aktiviert. Frage: Wie stell ich den Amp1 ME ein, so dass ich ziemlich nah an den Sound vom Riff von Pearl Jam Yellow Ledbetter ran komme.
Das ist einfach ein toller fender clean Tone mit Strat. Mein Vorschlag: Clean Channel Clean Volume 7 Clean Tone (CC an der Seite) voll auf Boost on (bei fetten Pickups CC boost zurück drehen, bei schlanken aufdrehen) Bass/middle/Treble je nach Box einstellen Startpunkt Mitte. Bei manchen (nicht fender boxen) etwas treble middle und auch mal Bass dazu. Falls du ne BluBOX hast: Silver 1x12 oder black 4x10

@@BluGuitar Der Sound, den er mir seiner modifizierten Strat spielt ist, nun, etwas eigen. Aber damals gab es halt auch noch keinen Amp1…😀

For me it´s easy to find my tone with Amp 1 mercury. Again, sometimes it depends from the speaker.

I put clean channel on 5, so it is clean, but, If I want to add a little gain to the clean Ch, I use green Rhino. It works perfect.
