Of course... Why some industrial music publishers want absolutely to give an easy version of major works... If you can't play it, you can't play it and go practice your instrument, and wait with listening great versions...
Bugleur very true, maybe some composers just really want to play this song, it’s really their choice and I’m sure a lot of directors would play this. I’m not saying I’m for it, I’m just saying there is a reason for them.
Where playing it in my Orchestra now, our ages vary from 13 to 17 and we enjoy it loads, it's made so orchestras like mine can play it. It's not hurting you, so why are you complaining
Promenade sounds really good for a grade 2 piece, but it's too long considering its main purpose is a leisurely walk. Baba Yaga, however sounds far from the original. Great Gate of Kiev was pretty good as well.
Played this a few days ago helping out a younger band, Promenade was well arranged but Baba Yaga and Kiev weren't very good. Definitely not the best easy arrangement of this piece out there.
And we all float on ok
