Why is it that On other videos the guy doing what your doing has people go to shops to buy gift cards when they could much easier just buy the gift cards online. Does this mean videos they have them go shops are just click bait type videos

Every call I received from India turned out to be a scam. It is easier and wiser not to do business with them until they go after these people and show the world they are against this.

Damn, shutting down the scammers internet and repeatedly calling the victim over 30 times. Of all the scambaiters on youtube, I can only imagine Jim Browning being as persistent and aggressive at actually sabotaging the scammers in a practical way.

If you can't sabotage the whole call center in some way, the annoyance of a few individual scammers is probably an exercise in futility

You and Jim browning are definitely my favorite scambaiters, you actually have an approach which can really damage the scammers, whilst most acambaiters tries to humiliate the scammers etc, but the truth is that this won’t work.
I LOVE the way Jim browning shows utter disappointment when confronting the scammers, and the way you help the victims is honestly bringing me to tears.

To be fair to the other scambaiters like Kitboga even though they don’t get in their systems and shut them down they basically try to waste as much of the scammers time as possible which keeps them away from true victims.
But yeah seeing Jim actually get in there and do some major damage is great.

I work in a call center, we inform people about scams in their accounts and we advice them to contact their bank but they refuse.
They are really brainwashed.

A tip: next time they don't believe you, tell them to google the actual amazon customer service number on a different device and call it, so somebody from Amazon can confirm those guys were frauds.
This is what i told my parents to do. Works well enough.

I asked carphone warehouse to speak to a scammer on my other phone and see if they’re a scammer and they said no they’re real when they were actually fake. Can’t trust some workers
@@nas19281 Some workers don't give a damn so yeah, I would still be sceptical especially if the worker hasn't donr ANYTHING to try and confirm this.
But most of the time whenever you Google a phone number for a big company like that its going to be a scammers phone number. They pay money so their numbers are the top search results.
Amz contact info listed in our acct directory…..much safer than relying on google search , google failed to protect & screen fraudsters for us, they care only ads $.

I mean, yes! I love kitboga amd those types, they are funny and fun, but this guy actually like stops the scams outright! He is an awesome good guy hacker! So smart and good and quick! I just found him tonight! Definitely subscribed instantly!
I mean I enjoy them all no matter what, those who mess with them also deletes info that is stored in the scammers pc and they distract them from scamming people that way if you didn't know. They do actually help its just in a different way really.
The vast majority of people with enough skills to do what Scambaiter does have little to no social skills and, as It turns out, you need them to even sound believable. This is important if you deal with other types of scammers, as some of them are very suspicious and may take months of prep work to get to a state of trusting you enough that you can exploit them.
The other scambaiters aren’t just doing it for entertainment purposes, they are trying to waste as much of the scammers time as possible keeping them away from true victims.

No Offense Jim but you are probably in a country that would prosecute you for going to this level, whereas Scambaiter you are in a safer area that wouldn't prosecute you for taking down obvious criminals? These scammers also hurt legit Indian workers abroad in a big way, and I hate seeing these scammers making my country look bad. Good job Scambaiter destroying them. And I'm a scambaiter in my own right too.
It must be so frustrating and feel like a thankless task when a victim won't believe you are the good guy, but it's understandable that they are suspicious. You are a great person for doing this without getting the thanks you deserve. Everyone who watches is grateful to you, even if the victim is too afraid to be grateful themselves.

I agree with that! But you should also consider that everyone starts from zero and becoming "popular" = getting more viewers and subscribers doesn't happen overnight.. some faster than others, but that doesn't mean that his content isn't as good or even better than the more "famous" scambaiters 😉👊🔥

I am from India I follow alot of youtubers like kitboga ,irl ,etc but you sir are one of a kind , you need more subscribers . You are not only making these people shit in thier pants you are also saving old people hats off to you. You don't need a voice changer or a fake bank like other youtubers lol you go straight to thier cams lol bravo. These people not only do this in usa but they do in india too . I cannot believe how these victims refuse to look the facts objectively and realise how ludicrous it is for a staff member from Amazon asking you to log into your bank or purchase a gift card is... I think people just get railroaded down a certain course of action and once they're on those rails its hard for them to get off.

You have to think In their shoes or whatever. It’s not as simple as like oh we are on untrustworthy sight as scambaiter stated before. That one instance took TWO HOURS. Image taking two hours to solve something with someone who you can hardly understand. And on top of that you don’t know technology or don’t have that good of an understanding. You could have been Caught off gaurd. Any number of reason but I wouldn’t say people are stupid for falling for this. It’s tragic in its own right but I will have great respect for scambaiter and others like him. Not all hero’s wear capes after all.

The scammer was speaking Nepali. He basically says " oh there is another connction! M****f***! (In Hindi) , that guy ( Scambaiter) called the person. He's connecting now, and the phone got disconnect and I (scammer) dont have the ID and password of the person."
How I know this? Cause I am Nepali lol 😅 . This guy has and used Eastern Nepali slangs, People from Darjiling and other neighboring regions speak that way. I respect whatever you're doing. Great content! I'm a subscriber too!

I've seen how hard it is to convince older people they've been scammed. Thank you for what you do.
I don't believe i've ever commented on a video before but this guy definitely deserves it. I watch all of the guys doing this, including Jim Browning, and I appreciate him and this guy the most. These two actually intervene and save people money. They also take steps to get the centers shut down and slow them down by messing with their software which is where it really hurts them. I do like the guys that waste their time but I believe these two are the most effective. I also subscribed. Thanks for the time you put into this, I know it's not easy.

You're videos are addictive, soooo satisfying to see the scammers get taken down. It must be difficult to convince people you're hacked into their computer to help them.
Even though the destruction is fun to watch, the thorough investigations and scam interventions are equally as interesting. The approach is very different from a lot of the other scambaiters, almost like a mini-documentary, and while I enjoy their videos too because they're funny, I really enjoy this documentary style the best. Great work, as always. It’s frustrating when the people you’re trying to help can’t recognize the assistance from the scam when it’s clear that the people asking for personal information, and taking ur money are the bad guys. It makes me dread getting older.

It is an ethics thing. Breaking their toy so they can't hurt people is one thing, but taking their money is over the line. You don't know that the money you take is theirs (could be earned by a spouse, etc), or what they need it for (sick loved one). Rather than sink to their level, just break their tool and giggle

Am back tracking through all of your vids, liking and leaving comments, and of course I am subscribed. I could hear doubt in the lady's voice which is pretty normal since you're coming from out of the blue to call her and help. You did a pretty good job, believe me. I've been working in the fraud department for a US bank for a little over four years (and another three from my first job in banking) and they even doubt us when we need to make a call. It is what it is but you, Jim Browning, Scammer Payback and Scammer revolts are doing mighty awesome in helping the disadvantaged citizens.
You're nearing 9 thousand subs, which is awesome. Pierogi of SP just hit 300 thousand as I type, and when I started watching him, he wasn't even at 200 thou a little over a month ago. So you guys are definitely getting traction.

It's really not that surprising that she didn't trust him when he called to warn her. Imagine that was you experiencing this kind of scam for the first time. At this point you would probably be very suspicious of someone calling you out of the blue. As far as she knew, Scambaiter had been spying on her for who knows how long. Being exposed like like is very difficult for a person to come to terms with, especially if you they aren't used to technology related matters.

This is the only channel I follow where I let every ad play completely.
Great work. I don't why these types of scams and such aren't plastered all over the TV, and leaflets about aren't put into mailboxes. We waste so much paper with useless rubbish everyday, but you never see anything helpful in there like that.

I just discovered your page & have been binging your videos now for several hours. I love what you do! I love that I get to see victims being saved in real time. I follow several other scam baiters and while they are funny & entertaining...it can be frustrating when the scammers never receive any consequences...minus a few hours of wasted time.

This channel has tough me 2 things, one positive and one negative(accidental)The positive one is obvious, but negative one might be just me but it has influenced my view towards Indians in general, I am 100% sure that most Indian people are not scammer but it has constructed this idea about people from India. FYI customer support department most definitely has internal access to the clients' accounts so if the first thing you are asked is your password for them to access it - it's a scam
