Watched all 3 the videos with my wife. We really enjoyed it even though most of the culture is not new to us. But it is good to be reminded of these things and get a healthy perspective on things. Thanks for doing this. A blessed 2021 to all of you!
I am so happy and at the same time saddened after watching all three parts of this documentary. Happy to see my home land again but saddened to see how not much has changed. The poignant moments include the hungry child begger, the smiling faces of happy children, the school singing with your mum although there was 50yrs between both students, the man in the village who climbed to the top of the palm tree, and finally the hugs and warm welcome you received from the children, neighbours and the old lady in the stream. You content was spectators and the quality of your film and edits are perfect. Pls continues to do these documentaries....
Well done Chidi I loved your series it was informative and interesting. It has shown the positives as well as the negatives. As a Christian I would have love to see how christianity affected the Nigerians for the good and not the corruption that we often here about.
What you have done with this series is beautiful. As a proud mother of a Naija boy born in Canada this is such a blessed perspective to be able to share with him. Well done my brother 💛
May God Bless all of the Nigerian people. I see hard-working, motivated, dedicated, traditional and hopeful beings. This video is truly inspiring and eye opening. You have definitely created awareness within me!! I hope to visit Nigeria one day in the future. Thank you for sharing. Sending Peace and Love from Australia ❤🇦🇺
I absolutely love this documentary and will reach out to you about partnership opportunities for outreach in Nigeria. As a social worker passionate about humanitarian issues, I absolutely enjoyed watching your documentary! Great work! No flattery, but I mean it.
Side note. Your Mother’s energy brings me such joy. She is a Queen for certain. I want to know this woman 😊 May God continue to bless her ….beautiful 💛
Enjoyed seeing Benin City. I lived there for a time. (There are schools in Benin City using technology in the classroom….I worked at one). Maybe a follow up video showing some positive things happening in Nigeria. Nike Art Gallery, Happy Coffee, Jara Beach Resort (I have not been but it looks beautiful!). In Benin City…BIU campus, the museum. I tell people that I loved the people, the food, and the textiles the best. I agree with the many you interviewed-the country is blessed with so much but, sadly, the government is a detriment to the country. I pray that good leaders will rise from the youth and the next season of Nigerian history will allow her to benefit her own people and the world will see her greatness! 🇳🇬❤
Loved every second of your documentary series! I watched all three very sincerely....Chidi you are doing an amazing job! So much love from India and Happy new year to you and your family!
I like the rawness of life. Please explain the traditions. Like why his feet cant touch the ground when he comes down from the tree and if it does what happens. Also what do these traditions mean. And is it specific to just ibo tribe. LOVE THE VIDEO. 💘Much love from America.
They say he is in a trance and when his feet touches the ground he will go Mad. Therefore they have to carry him and welcome him down. This is specific to this tradition in this whole area. Thanks!!!
