I’m African American. Took a DNA and found out I’m 48% Nigerian so I’m guessing some of my ancestors was from Nigeria! Thanks so much for these documentaries 🌻
Do a DNA test to find out your exact tribal group and unite with them. Nigeria is a country of diverse and distinct peoples. Believe it or not, we are skin folks but not kin folks. Painful to read but that's the brutal truth. Africa is a totally different ball game. We identify by tribe and not by skin tone and we cannot change that to please anyone. Our Identity is very important to us, it is our pride. This is also of advantage to Ya'll African diaspora, if you know what i mean.... the Name Nigeria is English. Tells you a lot doesn't it? " colonialism.
Very beautiful. Very smart! Good advice from your mom. Be good students and obey your parents. Wish kids in the west appreciated the opportunities they’ve been given. All they can do is complain about unimportant stuff. But let’s start with ourselves. And give a good example of how to appreciate the little things and share with those who have less.
So inspired by these video. Just came across your page when my BF was searching for documentaries about Nigeria....thank you sharing the reality as it is🙏🏽 God bless and I love your mom, sooo kind.
Thank you for sharing. Coming from the West. I wish the African American can see the value in education. The school system here is good and bad. Good with math, science, technology, language, and bad when it comes to African history. I love the chair dance game! Yes African American children love to dance when music is playing. My brother you are good. African American must come home to mama Africa. This video made my day!
He we drive in luxury cars on paved roads listening to music on our radios and there they cram for space on a old motorcross on dirt roads…50$ can do wonders for these people but instilling christianity in these children is disgusting
This isn’t poverty I am seeing. It is just the absence of affluence. Nigeria isn’t poor. It has the largest GDP in Africa, and the 24th largest in the world, and that’s not counting the informal sector which has been estimated to be just as big as the formal sector. Please stop reinforcing false narratives. Explain that you’re in a town, not a city where you’d see the real wealth of Nigeria.
Y u no come Lagos na u went to village there's nothing wrong with that but I'm tired of people thinking dah it's only village dah it's here and that we aren't advanced; I expected u to be trying to educate people on that 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😪
I don't understand why you are tired. These children live in Ikorodu (536,619) people living there (census of 2006) That is not a village but a city. This whole documentary is to educate people about different aspects of Life in Nigeria, watch part 1 of the Documentary "The Beauty in the Struggle" ruclips.net/video/f6zJkRwNPZA/видео.html. Thanks for your reply!
@@daraodimegwu9024 I know and you are right I guess, but thats why I hope that seeing this Documentary serie people will think differently. Part 3 is on its way:)!
Even the villages aren’t poor. Nigeria isn’t a poor country. I have told people these things. Maybe compared to the West, we are poor. But not to the rest of Africa, most part of South America or India. Nigeria has so many things other people consider luxuries.
Well done Chidi in your first ine. Im going to make sure i find all three as this is tge second one. Great to see your perspective of the crazyness we call home. 💯✊🏾

The questions are made in the way they are made I did not use a script. I asked the boy for his future ambition.
