As a fellow 6.5-incher I can say: thank you for this review!!! This is Another cool treasure by Casio that has been in my Amazon cart for quite a while. I like your choice of color. In my cart are always the black versions, but you’re influencing me with the red “thing “. Like the idea that this could fit perfectly. Thanks for this video!
As for colors - I like variety to match outfits and sports teams - this will be on my wrist for the Super Bowl (to match San Francisco's 49ers). This red is the exact color of AS Roma, but we're more of a Juventus family. If this watch was black, I might never wear it again... I have plenty of "better" black Casios that I'd choose daily over the W96. See if you can get the Orange or Gold colorway in Italy; they're not available in the USA.
@@manifoldz oh, now I get it! I wear mostly black or dark-gray sweaters, that’s why my watches are mainly black or dark gray… moreover, I think I’m the only Italian who doesn’t know anything about football(…soccer, I mean) . I do know the teams you mentioned, though😉 I will look for the orange version of this model, thank you for the suggestion! Thank you for your response!
I hear you - the W96 has no practical advantage over the F91 except for legibility (but you pay for that in bulk). If you can read the F91, stick with it. I will.
I agree, and some of them are pretty unique like auto light, so it's the watch that I wear outside when I know I'll need the time, but don't want to fidget with buttons. I hope to review one day, it does have a couple downsides.
I wonder if the W201-1AV would float your boat , 😂 seams like it has the efficiency in screen layout you like .. with 50m water resistance and slim design … with the most comfortable strap of any Casio . I’m currently collecting a few budget casios with the steel strap , maybe you don’t like these … but they do look a little smarter when at work . Looking forward to next video !! 😅
Good review but be careful with making ridiculous assumptions based on your life…. A) yes, people do use the split function on stopwatches. B) dual time is very useful for frequent world travelers and used quite often. Example, military reports are written in Zulu time and if you are bouncing around the world, it’s not always easy to know, let alone remember, what your time difference is. Add to that, some countries use time zones with 30 min increment differences thus adding to the confusion. So, dual time is extremely useful.
Thank you for watching. We will have to agree to to disagree. I'm not talking about hypotheticals - you can invent a fictional person who might use those functions, but anyone that uses splits is going to get a 60 lap watch, and because of DST, the Zulu offset isn't correct for a couple weeks of the year, you have to check it anyhow.
@@manifoldz these are not fictional examples. These functions are used by people everyday the world over. The DST change happens twice a year and is an easy fix. That argument was just silly. And when one presents real-world examples from experience and you refuse to listen, that speaks of your unwillingness to learn. Again, world time and split functions are very useful.
i agree on that there might be people who actually use dual time and split timer. i liken this to the case of the divers watch, which is unfortunate because watch vloggers reviewing divers watch are not divers. example is jodie of just 1 more watch, who does not even know how to swim. nut n fancy does scuba dive so for me he is a credible commentator of dive watches. to finalize and conclude your point, can you suggest me a youtube reviewer who uses dual time and split time in his ligestyle, to prove that such a person is not hypothetical?
@@beberforumer9715 Fredrick loves watches…. Always talks about traveling and enjoying a gmt function or world clock complication. To be honest, I could care less if RUclips reviewers use these functions, I just know that real people in the real world DO use them.

Interesting - you're not the first person to have mentioned that - AND the watchband is irreplaceable. How long did it take for you to break? For me, it's going to get weeks and not years of wear, so I don't think it will break on me.

Interested to hear your take. It's got the best case size to digit size in Casio's lineup, but both are too large (for me).

Wow what a great showcase review, I say that because I wear this model everyday and mine fits perfectly
It really does fit well - agreed. I think that has a lot to do with the relatively long (top to bottom) form factor.
I got one for my collection but I just can't warm to it. The F-91W is still king in my world.

Great video. Thanks!
Cool watch 👍😎😎
Have you tried a W-94H? It’s very small and has a load of features.

I'm always in-between strap holes 😂
Love the f91 but it just looks ridiculous on my 8 inch wrist 😢
That's on you, my friend. Wear what you like.
I’m 50.. Not young, Not too old.. I love the crisp and large digits on W96H.. I have quite a few Casios and I wear this one occasionally.
I'm 46, so right there with you. Big digits are the W96's superpower, but an aesthetic choice.
Why nobody measures time numbers size?
It's important for old people with bad sight.
I know, Right? The W96's numbers are 7.5mm tall, which is 50% larger then the F-91W (at 5mm).

The W201 is on my purchase list! I hate non-functional display elements, so that bar visualization would be a little annoying. Thanks for watching!
@@manifoldz yes good point ! Your right
great watches.
you mean to say you do not cut watch bands to size, and therefore just leave the fate of your fashion to the length of strap from the factory?
Ha. Yep. Keep 'em stock.
Your videos are good, but your audio volume or voice itself, could be a little louder.
I'm sure you're right, thanks for the feedback!

I'd go with the W96 except the band/shoulder issue...
Every single one I have owned has broken along that spot. Every single one!

@@manifoldz All broke within 4 months. They simply can't take any stress/ contortion along that joint.
The W96 is superior in every way to the F91 but im still wearing the F91.
