Hi bro @GSAutoMotives I face an additional issue, with the diesel filled half tank the second row passenger can feel the diesel rapid oscillating movement on the floor board. I don’t see any forum discussing this issue, not sure if it is common across other suv as well or only am facing the issue

Your observation feels new, haven’t seen this maybe a visit to service and also check for same issue in any other car will help. One more thing I noticed but not seen being discussed is a minor additional sound from the front left side with engine running during idle or even moving right from the new cars too. Not sure of what it is. @GSAutomotives any comment on this
First time somebody covered about suspension issue of XUV700 in detail. Kudos.
Ask him to change the LCA and suspension bushes. After the change I am seeing a good improvement.
Between even now the newer versions don't come with auto-dimming IRVM

I went to Mahindra to buy this vehicle. But after sitting at the third row found that leg room is very less and 2nd row is not adjustable. So I bought Marazzo which is truly awesome.
1:30 : power to weight ratio - very useful parameter, that makes more sense.

EVEN IN AX7 L THEY ARE NOT PROVIDE THE AUTO DIMMING IRVM.
Front ac vents are very fragile and mine two of them got broken while just adjusting and we need to change the whole cluster. Engine dimming while in traffic doesn't have the immediate response when we press the accelator and sometimes it gets stuck.
Yes lower arm sound will be there on mild rough road

I have the 2024 AX7L Diesel. Driven around 3000 kms and I did not get the suspension noise issue so far. May be they fixed it.

Are you suggesting this XUV 700 to buy ?
First I am looking for safety then milage. In this category I could see Mahindra and TATA cars only coming into this picture. I like TATA harrier but everyone reported the steering issue and other manufacturing issues ..so I decided to go with XUV 700.
I am also from Erode..after seeing your video, I am worried with Mahindra service centre 😢.

Mahindra sales and service is better by miles when compared to Tata in my personal experience. I would suggest CAI Mahindra Coimbatore.
If it is a movable second row seat, the third row might be accommodating. It's the same for scorpioN. Atleast family buyers would choose this over other brands.

Nowadays sunroof is like a main sales gimmick to attract masses like it’s some fancy and status figure. This maybe due to lack of awareness too and all manufacturers are using that to their advantage, pushing it on us even if some of us don’t want one.

One more thing with AC is placement of vents in second row where Tata units have around the b pillar seems better thought out. Also blow volume controls for individual vents would have been a convenient minor addition. Also a separate LCD panel for AC stat display would have been better as the display does not show the level on screen properly in automatic units. But AC performance wise nothing to complain.

என்னோட மனசுல இருந்த பாரமே கொரங்சிடுசு. உள்ளதா உள்ள படி நீங்க மட்டும் தா சொல்லி இருக்கீங்க. I have another car Honda city for 12 year old. 1 lakhs kilometer done. 70% casual drive , 30 % high speed drives on banglore higheays competit other cars. But stil it doesnot give any rattling noise or anyothrr noise. I can feel only engine noise after 140 kmph. But its hondas nature.
Mahindra is developed very welll in those days but still noises coming in new cars also. For someone who uses japanese cars for long period and switcj to indians cars like this , they cant accept those noises.
Im using xuv 300 for last 2 years. Im facing those noises. I hate those noises. Reviewer explained very well.
Honda petrol engine is like what you say but avanga diesel try panni paarunga you may feel different

Mahindra cars are powerful but not pocket friendly.
1. Very very poor mileage.
2. Not reliable.
3. Clutch piston is often repair.
4. Steering feedback is poor.
5. Very poor comfort.
6. Suspension is simply waste.
7. Rattling noise with start after 5k km
You need hefty amount to take care of this elephant.

Unfortunately the fixed mid row is a big mistake and not corrected yet. வேலுசாமி has to do something about it. 3rd row is virtually unusable. Long term reliability can't be expected for sure. Can never match Toyota quality 😢
Koodavae seat ventilation is a big miss. At least now it’s available for front seats in the higher variant models but would be better if it’s an optional upgrade for low models and previous year models. And IRVM being manual vida it feels of less quality than 12 year old unit in Figo. They are providing better one in 3XO so why can’t in 7OO

@@GSAutoMotives Nope Plz recheck it.recenlty went to showroom to checkout xuv700 2024 there is no auto dimming IRVM.Mahindra has given autodimming IRVM in xuv400 and xuv300 rest of the models doesnt have it. In xuv700 autodimming IRVM will come in facelifted model that gonna launch next year or 2026.

Bro, i did xuv 700 diesel automatic test drive ., I felt engine noise and roaring sound start from 0 to 35km speed .. once it crossed 35km speed .. i didn't not feel that..
Same thing did not happen in petrol automatic and
It was very smooth in petrol automatic shifting.
Looks like gear shifting is not happening properly, is that normal or abnormal..
Service person says this would not be there in new car..

It holds gears based on pedal inputs, can say very sensitive to the inputs. Might need some getting used to. Sometimes first gear could hold till you reach 40 kph too if pressed hard. But if we go very gentle it will shift by 20 kph and you may not even notice. It takes time for us and as per service advisor for first few thousand kms the gearbox will be like in learning phase but as per user manual its for few hundred kms. But you will definitely feel the difference once you are accustomed.

I guess that would be a big mistake
Innova crysta build is solid, you cannot expect the same level of perfection and robustness from the monocoque Mahindra like some bits of plastics being poor quality (tail light corners, uneven panel gaps pola sila). But given proper reasons your upgrade will be worth. Also can’t say XUV is unreliable. Vehicle as a whole is very solid and reliable. Unga change will be an upgrade in many area and compromise in few places, depends on what you personally feel.

May be so many variants will confuse buyers and let them disappointed But not in top ends variants
And by the way ESP AND hill hold not present in AX5 petrol versions that's for ur fact things to add. And my tips
