I knew TommyInnit annoys his viewers at first from firsthand experience, but I didn’t realize he was such an expert that he did the same to Wilbur and Technoblade. It’s kind of amazing that his annoyingness was how he inserted himself into the group haha, it worked though!
You can really see all the things Technodad does to try and cheer Tommy up. First he reassures him that crying is totally acceptable and doesn’t make you any less of a man, then when the conversation goes silent for a moment while Tommy is crying, he tries to start up the conversation again, reminding Tommy that he was going to give Technodad some PVP advice. And then when Tommy tells him he can’t because he’s crying, he tries a couple more tactics. He tells Tommy to tell him what he’s feeling, then when that doesn’t work, he tries an almost tough love approach, asking Tommy; “Come on, what are we doing here? Are we goofing, are we being serious…” assuming Tommy would respond better a more firm redirect back to the conversation, before finally prompting Tommy to tell him another story about Technoblade, which you can tell helps cheer him up almost right away. Technodad is really such a kind soul, and I wonder if he’s ever had any experience with therapy, either giving it or receiving it, because he always finds a way to say exactly what people need to hear. I know this is a long comment, and I definitely made assumptions about what was going through Technodad’s head as he was saying all these things, and most of my assumptions are probably wrong, but this was the way I saw it and I wanted to share my thoughts on and break down a great example of therapy.
No matter if you knew him as a friend or just a fan or even have only barely watched his videos, etc, it will hurt to different extents. A classmate that I used to sit next to in math class passed away not too long ago due to a housefire. I had struck up a small conversation with him two days prior in band class. And I always remember doodling and looking over and seeing that he would be doodling sometimes too. And one time after he died, I turned to talk to him, and forgot he wasn't there anymore. I didn't know him that well, but it still hurt, and I still cried. I still think about Brien Karlson, even when other classmates might push it to the back of their head. Death is not something to be feared, rather something accept. And sometimes, it takes a long time to accept. And healing is a process, whether it be fast or slow. I'm a bit ashamed to admit, but I had no idea this stream (or video?) even happened! I really haven't been even the least bit interested in the DSMP or Minecraft content since Techno passed, but I would have loved to see this one live; seeing Technodad playing Minecraft with Tommy is really bittersweet, I'm so happy that he's doing so much to keep the memory of Alex alive, he's so sweet and smart, you can really tell that Alex took after him. We're lucky to have him❤

Techno was a great person and honestly helped me through hard times. It was hard for technos supporter, and I can’t imagine how hard it was for his family.When I heard the news it was a day after my birthday. It took months for me to get over it but hearing this makes me really happy and I’m glad technos dad was doing this. Happy late birthday Techno.

I knew what had happened. I was simply in shock, later that day I simply broke down crying, which I did not expect as I didn't know Techno directly, only being a massive fan. It was the first time of my life I had ever experienced grief. Even though I wasn't connected with him, it still hurt, which I couldn't understand at the time since I had never experienced grief before. And I cannot fathom the pain Techno's close family and friends suffered as they knew him way better than I, and I am terribly sorry for your loss.
My brother came into my room, and so insensitively said, "Techno died," and just left. I was confused. And I'm not really the physically emotional type, but even I teared up. And being an empathy, all I could think about was how the people closest to him felt.

I can remember that ender pearl moment, that was MCC with Techno, Dream, Burren and Michael in the same team, tommy enderpearled and got knocked off the island in 2 seconds
The man made famous with the tagline "technoblade never dies" dying at such a young age from cancer. We will refuse to hide his legacy and will keep him alive forever in their hearts. Every time I get sad about it i just watch one of his videos and repeat "technoblade never dies" to myself, and comment on the video to keep it alive. He'll never be forgotten.
I joined the dream smp fandom about two weeks ago, a whole while after everything. I had known some of the streamers and the animatics, but had never actually gotten into it. But once I got in, there was no way out. And the moment Technoblade first joined, I knew everything would change. And it did. And once I first heard of what had happened I thought it was absurd and just… impossible. After all, Technoblade never dies, right? But after hearing the full story, and the way he didn’t let it get to him, also raising funds - and basically just everything he’s done, I just started crying like I never have. I wasn’t there for any of the stuff, only basically just now started to get into his content, and yet he already had me sobbing my soul out. He is just that incredible and amazing. And he will never be forgotten.
I'm glad Technodad is there for Tommyinit, he probably need someone to talk about it being that young and experiencing a close friend's death who he didn't even manage to meet. :
Technoblade is a legend! All these memories take me back to when I first started watching Technoblades videos. He was so inspiring and I'd always hope to even talk to him one day. Tommy actually did though, and he became a really good friend to Technoblade. That was so cool because that lifted my spirits. Thoughout the years, Technoblade and Tommy have just been this amazingly great young duo! It was until the day that I saw the video "So Long Nerds" that made me burst into tears. It was so heart breaking for his fans, for his friends, and most definitely his family. I couldn't stop crying for a while there, my parents couldn't even get me out of my room for breakfasts, lunches, or dinner. I eventually came out of my room after 4 days, but it wasn’t the same scrolling through RUclips. I felt like one of the only things that I truly enjoyed was just... gone. I'm now here today and I see that Technodad is taking this really well considering what happened. Hopefully Techno found true peace wherever he went. ❤

This is really nicely edited. I only started to like Tommy after I saw this and some other videos where he is interacting with Technodad. I think that despite how annoying Tommy can be, the thing that wins him over to people is that he is fearless.

this was the first time i genuinely cried while watching a video about technoblade. I mean, full on tears streaming down my face. The problem with never being angry is that you can never make it out of denial.

The man made famous with the tagline "technoblade never dies" dying at such a young age from cancer. We will refuse to hide his legacy and will keep him alive forever in their hearts. Every time I get sad about it i just watch one of his videos and repeat "technoblade never dies" to myself, and comment on the video to keep it alive. He'll never be forgotten.

I joined the dream smp fandom about two weeks ago, a whole while after everything. I had known some of the streamers and the animatics, but had never actually gotten into it. But once I got in, there was no way out. And the moment Technoblade first joined, I knew everything would change. And it did. And once I first heard of what had happened I thought it was absurd and just… impossible. After all, Technoblade never dies, right? But after hearing the full story, and the way he didn’t let it get to him, also raising funds - and basically just everything he’s done, I just started crying like I never have. I wasn’t there for any of the stuff, only basically just now started to get into his content, and yet he already had me sobbing my soul out. He is just that incredible and amazing. And he will never be forgotten.

Technoblade is a legend! All these memories take me back to when I first started watching Technoblades videos. He was so inspiring and I'd always hope to even talk to him one day. Tommy actually did though, and he became a really good friend to Technoblade. That was so cool because that lifted my spirits. Thoughout the years, Technoblade and Tommy have just been this amazingly great young duo! It was until the day that I saw the video "So Long Nerds" that made me burst into tears. It was so heart breaking for his fans, for his friends, and most definitely his family. I couldn't stop crying for a while there, my parents couldn't even get me out of my room for breakfasts, lunches, or dinner. I eventually came out of my room after 4 days, but it wasn’t the same scrolling through RUclips. I felt like one of the only things that I truly enjoyed was just... gone. I'm now here today and I see that Technodad is taking this really well considering what happened. Hopefully Techno found true peace wherever he went. ❤

I’d do anything to have a dad like Technodad. Notice how he was just sitting there listening in tears with tommy? It’s incredible. The fact that he is just sitting there listening to stories of his son who DIED if you forgot… you can just see what he is feeling by his face. As tommy goes on and on with all the stories he had to tell, and all the memories to remember, Technodad was just sitting there in tears like a legend. Man, I never noticed how similar Technoblade and Technodad are. Guess it runs in the family, they’re almost exactly the same. Even their voices!

This is really nicely edited. I only started to like Tommy after I saw this and some other videos where he is interacting with Technodad. I think that despite how annoying Tommy can be, the thing that wins him over to people is that he is fearless.
