This is superb, making s3 public was vulnerable.
Please showcase creation of aws static webpage with OpenID authentication.

if I want to update the website code, should I just replace the current s3 bucket index.html or I should somehow refresh the cloudfront and route53?

You have to perform invalidation to clear the cache, This has to perform at Cloudfront level otherwise old data may be delivered to end users

Hi, Ive changed my Ns records with my hosting provider, created the SSL aws certificate, created a distribution with cloudfront where I created a new bucket policy and applied after, then added a new record for cloudfront, but my static my domain is still unreachable, it doesnt load my static site, i followed all directions from video..i dont know what could be the issue..any advice?

Please try with S3 URL once, then verify the Cloudfront access on S3 bucket. Also, NS record update takes approx 12 hrs to take effect.

@@avizway I did and I see Coudfront has access to S3, the Cloudfront url does show the website on the browser..then it must be NS update then, I'll give some time..thank you brother

You don't need to have s3 bucket name same as Domain name if you use Cloudfront.

Indeed, highlighted this if someone wishes to configure domain mapping in Route53 without relying on CloudFront.
