This is a really great car. The pinnacle of the evolution of Citroen luxury cars. Driving comfort is simply at a high level. I thought for a long time how to describe it: Style, Quality, Comfort, Silence. I own a C6 with a petrol engine. p.s. Thanks for the video. Best regards,Andriy,Ukraine.
Stunning car, the last of the real Citroens. I absolutely love these and would have one in a heartbeat, but sadly Citroens aren't sold in Canada. We never get the really cool cars here, or any French cars for that matter. Thank you for sharing your beautiful car with us. Awesome styling!
Fantastic. Have this engine in the equally rare 407 coupe with 171,000 miles on (275,000 km) and still runs so well. Agree that its a fabulous engine, would love it in this C6 guise though!
In one hand normal car you can see on the street that people can afford and at the same time so unusual and very unique authentic car, comfortable and luxury, love it.. you should go around Europe, from south to north, if you can, i just think that kind of video will be amazing
I owned one for three years . Beautiful ride, real different car. An interior that was dated on launch and sadly a few too many Peugeot parts on the suspension that were not up to the job . It tried to compete with the Germans but it fell short .
Great tour! I love these cars. The level of initial depreciation makes these cars an absolute bargain now in terms of how much car you get for your money 😉👍
I just bought a 2007 C6 in JDM spec today after watching your video. It has a 3.0L petrol engine, brown-black exterior colour with beige interior. The screen and RHD are different from the EU spec. I am very much looking forward to it!
Such a beautiful! Car man. sadly here in USA We do not have a Citroën . I think so because they med great car. This is why. I'm so glad! that you can enjoy this wonderful machine!
I like the centre console with all the buttons. I think it looks cool. Way better than the touch screen only nonsense car manufacturers do these days. And I find it very easy to use all these buttons and get used to. You can use functions without taking your eyes off the road for too long. I wish cars could use so many buttons again.
I really like this car, thanks for the nice and detailed vid! I saw one the other day for 7 grand, and I was thinking, why not? My eyes and heart say "go get it" but then there's the forums and all that is said about the reliability issues and how expensive it is to maintain because you can hardly find spare parts or a good Citroen "guy workshop" who can deeply comprehend this marvellous machines. Any way, thanks again, hope everything goes well man, cheers!
Thank you for your comment ! I can only recommend you to take a 3.0hdi if you ever want to buy one, they are very reliable when well maintained but it's true that even in France it's very hard to find a competent garage to maintain this complex machine.
Range Rover and reliable doesn't coexist. Next thing which is nonsense is V6 and smooth. The architecture of V6 was never meant to be smooth. Yes, damping, insulation and other anti vibration gimmicks can reduce some, but it's nature is far from smooth. Smooth is inline 6@@Marcsauto
@@eleonik76 Of course Range Rovers are not shining by their reliability but it's not because of their 3.0 engine but most commonly because of its electronic.
I adore the C6, so uniquely special, interesting, quirky, elegant and gorgeous. Unfortunately here in The Netherlands road tax is calculated by weight and because this car is very heavy and it's a diesel, the ownership tax is € 2552,- per year. Not insurance mind you, that's not too bad. Just the ownership tax to have the car registered and to have the right to use public roads. The ownership tax for the petrol is € 1392 per year. But they're expensive and I imagine a bit gutless in such a heavy car. You speak with so much love of your C6.
Thank you for your comment ! I didn't know you have such a heavy tax system force car ownership. That's really dissuasive to own a big or powerful car...
A wonderful, unique design and surely a very well made car. German cars are better as we all know but what is good enough for former President Chirac certainly will fit me too. And did I mention the beautiful design of this car?
beautiful Citroen. Been playing with an idea of getting one as a second car for many years, 3 liter ones not so easy to find for a reasonable price. That fake Rolex thou killed the show.
CUPHOLDERS! You forgot to show the cupholders. I got 2.7 version and i loving it. And everyone who doubting to buy one or not ,go ahead and BUY ONE.10 years from now these cars are too expensive and too exlusive. Some 20 000 ever produced ,2024 maybe 10 000 still out there.YOLO!
I agree it's the best 100% French car but Bugatti is a French brand, Ettore Bugatti left Italy to have a better life in France and was French, he named his son Jean which is a French name because he was French and not Italian anymore. Saying that Bugatti is Italian is like saying that Tesla is South African because Elon Musk is South African. And yes it's also German as it's part of the VW group. So if you follow this thaught Opel, Alfa Roméo, Maserati, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep are also French brands through Stellantis. That's just how the world works nowadays with big automobile groups. It doesn't means that brands change their nationalities.
Moaning about too many buttons . Really what about scroling a touch screen just to get air out of a differnt vent !!!! . 1 swithch for fan one for heat and 1 for direction. All this climate control bs is useless
Honestly what I love to see is cars with all these physical buttons. It looks premium and expensive like the gated metal shifter. It looks old school today. Which is what I want in a collector car such as this. If you get into a car with some form of touchscreen after a few short years they look like a joke compared to newer ones. And are also a nightmare if they stop working. You have to spend big money if you can even get a touchscreen for that model in the future. Especially useful In Hot climates as I live in Florida. A touchscreen would malfunction after a few short years with all the sun and heat.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video, your car is a work of art, truly. Happy to see you are enjoying it and using it, I could only imagine how it feels driving it ❤
Probably the best Citroen in this century!
I like how respectfull you talk about the car

Thank you ! You own the rarest version of the C6. These V6 petrol engine versions are very hard to find nowadays.
Nothing is typical about the design and engineering of this car❤
I am driving a beautiful XM, and this might be my next Citroen
Was very nice to watch.
I plan to make a video about a C6 sometime in the future. We dont got much here in Israel.
I have a BX GTi
Thank you for your comment ! The BX is also a great Citroën :)
An acquired taste, that's for sure! Talking about your Air-King, of course LOL. The car is fantastic, thank you for the tour.
Thank you for your comment
Never had Citroen, but i have much respect to this one, i love to see it its brave unique and elegant

A beautiful car Monsieur! I hope to get one soon.
Thank you!
I own a Citroen C5 X7 kombi and although I love it, I dream about owning a C6! Thanks for the nice video! Greetings from Slovakia ✌
I hope to own one someday, but it is extremely difficult to find 3.0hdi version with right hand drive.

I totally agree, it's a lot of a car for the money and something unique on the road at the same time

@@Marcsauto I can't wait for the day when I can put it alongside the 1952 11CV I already own in the garage!
Great video. Lovely car, the best of Citroen. Thanks for sharing
Thank you !
Beauty of a car.

Yes that's sad that since the DS you don't have Citroën there
its just piece of art at wheels
Gorgeous car. I have the same mindset of wanting to drive unique cars.

Cool, I enjoyed that. Thanks
which oil do you have? 10w40?
This car does not have electric adjustment for the rear seats?
No it was one of the rare options that I don't have on my C6

they offered it with this 3 liter V6 😢

Thanks for your comment, I hope you find one at a reasonable price some day. And the Air King 116900 Is an original by the way
Can't belive that psa or stellantis wanted or wants citroens appear like budget version of peugeot.
Yes that's really sad
The shape is smart, but the head lights run too far backwards and the rear lights need totally redesigning
The rear lights are beautiful and unique, they are inspired by a very cool French sports car from the 50s, the Facel Vega.
