In case you're wondering, this song has been written by Tuomas in the loving memory of his father, who passed away in 2021... There's also more hidden meanings and references in that song, highly recommend to try and catch them...
For me, this Song is beyond beautiful and the absolute counterpart of "Our Decades in the Sun". Decades is for me, us in singing in memory of our parents, Laternlight is our parents singing to us at the end of their life. Or we singing this to our kids before we are leaving, to not be sad, because we had a fullfilled life and we are always with them ...

Btw, this song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching).
Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends.
I feel like this song is a ode to everyone who lost theier parrents!! Floor sings the sentence, i was the one who climbed of your back not long ago, same words used in the song Our decades in the sun, and that song is surely a ode to our parrents, that basicly why i say its about lost parrents, who became stardust..

This song is written by Tuomas, as a ode to hes Father that passed away in 2021, Floor sings absolute beautiful on this, and Troy hoining at end, perfect!! I lost my Father 6 years ago, and my mother 5 years ago, listening to this, will bring me memories of them, and a song of sadness, beauty and hope at same time, its a song i would consider a masterpiece, love it!!

This song is actually the conclusion of the album. It's about our lost loved ones and how they live on through us. Tuomas lost his father between this album production and the previous one release. That's probably the event that served as a foundation for this track. It goes full circle because the album starts with a movie projector sounds and closes with one. Definitely got a "something is ending" vibe to it...

This song filled my heart with so many emotions. Grief, sorrow, joy, reflection, happiness.
It made me think of the loss of my parents (3 weeks apart) and the grief sorrow and helplessness i felt then. It also made me think of when i had my children and grandkids and the joy i felt then.
Then the end made me think of the contentment i feel when im with my family and the memories i have of them and the new memories to be made.
Tuomas is a genius in that he can write music and lyrics that transport you back into your memories then evoke emotions from those memories
