I can't believe how often you walked by that M1 without even giving it a passing glance.
And the Miura, is he blind?
He only understands modern cars. I would be looking at the lagonda, Muira , older Aston's etc.
And that Alfa 8C at the start.. didnt even acknowledge it!
It's a really nice collection with about 200 cars in total. In the building next to it there is a 250 GT Lusso, a 250 California Spider and a 250 TR stored aswell.
You know the place is packed with special cars when Miura just sits there and doesnt get even mentioned :D
yes I am afraid the commentary on this video left a lot to be desired from my POV. Too much bouncing around and no focus or even scant mention of the M1 or Muira. It is a great collection though. I would take the 300SL convertible.

As a Swiss it‘s fun to see this. Was at autobau one year ago. Great cars on display and yes the experience of racing unleashed is superb. Also I agree that older cars are giving you more. I bought a 996.2 GT3 Clubsport from 2004. That car gives you smile as soon as you turn the key 👌
27 is also one of the most iconic ferrari f1 numbers. Villeneuve, Schumacher, Prost all drove it, and more!!
Analog technology is better than digital. Same with watches james. You understand that. Your A.P v Apple watch. Totally different SL 300 v SF 90.
SL 300 all day long. Old school cool. Like you say. On the max all the time probably became mundane. Treat your senses to going slower and enjoying the experience. BRAVO JAMES for more great content. That is an ultimate collection.

Blown away, with most car collections there are probably 80% of the vehicles that float my boat, in this garage there isn't one vehicle that doesn't give me a little tingle

Can’t believe you didn’t show the black Vector W8. That was the insane care of the 80’s. Crazy rare. Actually that Porsche 904 was pretty special too and just skipped past that as well. You really should have made a good 20 min video on that place. A tonne of cars in there you don’t see all that often Very impressive collection

I agree with you regarding modern cars. They're just too powerful and heavy. Somewhere around 400-500bhp and 1200-1400kg is the ideal range I think.

Well, I'm a bit lost for words here. Fantastic is all I can say really.
I know it's not much but highlighting the S7 was incredible. I adore the S7, it's an absolute dream car of mine. Just a little note, there's techincally four versions of the S7. The S7 (550hp N/A 7.0 V8), the S7 TT (750hp Twin Turbo 7.0 V8, can be optioned to 1000hp), the S7.R (Racing variant, GT1 series) and the S7 LM (1000hp or 1300 on race fuel according to Top Gear, only 7 made, retrospective upgrades on existing cars. Wiki claims 1300 standard, 1500 after an update)

this is more mine type off collection. old and new cars in one place. and yess i am with you James. the cars the i grow up with ( Enzo, Carrera GT, GTO) are more intresse than the new type hypercars.

sim racing = digital domain = boring. Love the car collection. To answer your question... NO there should not be any restrictions on sales of any cars. You have the passion and the money, the car should be yours.

SF90 is still really hard to get though production numbers an price are more inline with other supercars vs hypercars you still need to have own a previous and rare Ferrari such as the F8, LaFerrari, Farrari 488 and other expansive models. Brooks from Dragtimes traded in his F8 for SF90. It is not like walking into a used car dealer.

According to an employee when I was there he said 200k CHF, but not sure if thats true. He said they use a real carbon monocoque place to sit in. And they produce these simulators in Maranello

F40 always will be the best!! Regarding the SF90 it is only faster than the LaFerrari up to about 220km/h after that the LaFerrari is faster, and lap time on circuits it is only faster on low and medium speed circuits, on high speed circuits LaFerrari is faster if you have the right tires, stock LaFerrari tires don't have enough traction! A good friend of mine from Monaco has both the SF90 and the LaFerrari and he has already compared the two against each other, and the LaFerrari with Trofeo R tires is much faster than with stock tires, therefore much faster than the SF90 even the SF90 using the same tires!
