brilliant idea to use that dowel to stop the machine from knocking into the bungee.

Hello Bonnie! I was just searching for a tutorial on the Cutie and found your channel. I just subscribed. 🤩I purchased my Cutie in April, and I just had my father-in-law put it together for me. He had a little bit of a hard time. Thankfully my husband was able to help him when he got home from work. Thank you for your help with the clips. Now, I just have to get my quilt on the cutie 😉Wish me luck!

      The very best of luck!!
You may find my Facebook group helpful...the group was formed to help new Cutie quilters get used to their frames and get advice on their machine on the frame.

I never used the SureStitch Elite myself. I wanted one, but upgraded to the Q'nique 19 instead.

An old fashion basic adjustable curtain rod that is curved on the ends works great for holding up the clamps. The curve keeps the rod in place.

@@quiltingonathread I'd be happy to show you, email? I don't have a Cutie but I've been looking to purchase a new quilting system that's how I ended up on your channel, researching.

The Cutie Quilters Facebook group has a document I prepared (Qutie Frame Accessories) under the Files tab that lists the accessories and work arounds them.
