Elden Ring DLC too hard? JUST BONK !
Build:
Scadutree Blessing 20 (double damage and half damage taken) VERY IMPORTANT!!!
Weapon: Giant Crusher with Lion's Claw (heavy if you are strength build)
or Bloodfiend's Arm with bleed, it can deal more damage and the charged heavy attack is good
After testing the new Savage Lion's Claw is not fast enough for poise break
Talisman: Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman (-20% Physical Damage)
Two-Headed Turtle Talisman (Greatly raises stamina recovery speed)
Shard of Alexander (Greatly boosts the attack power of Skills by 15%)
Blade of Mercy (Raises attack power after each critical hit, you can replace it with Golden Braid or Verdigris Discus for better defence)
Great Rune: Malenia's Great Rune (Attacks dealt after taking damage recover HP)
or Radahn's Great Rune (Raises maximum HP, FP and Stamina) if you dont have enough level
Crystal Tear: Opaline Hardtear (Temporarily boosts all damage negations +15%)
Stonebarb Cracked Tear (Make attacks more likely to break enemy stances in a mixed physick)
Armor: Bull Goat Set or Verdigris Set
Level: 60 Vigor, 60 Mind (use Blue Flask or Starlight Shards if dont have enough), 60 Endurance or use Great Jar's Arsenal Talisman, 60 Strength (40 minimum)
Incantations: Golden Vow (+15% damage, +10% damage negation for 80s)
Items: Boiled Crab (+20% Physical Damage Negation)
Starlight Shards (gradually recover FP)
You can try other buffs (Ironjar Aromatic) to make it easier.
Lion's claw has hyper armor which means it cant be interrupted, so with Stonebarb Cracked Tear (break enemy stances easier), you can spam lion's claw to break enemy's stance and heal after repose. For the face transition meteor attack just run away to the side to avoid it.
I am on ng, for ng+ and more, boss has more stance resistance and damage. This method might not work, you could try Ironjar Aromatic or other buffs to make yourself more tankier. Using Fingerprint Stone Shield to block and poke with a bleed weapon is also practical.

This DLC makes you go from the Elden Lord to a straight victim. The word “cheese” really brings down the fact that this idea was well thought out and completely fair when it comes to such a hard DLC, ESPECIALLY this fight. Good work!
Honestly this fight wouldn't be that bad if his fucking suck in AOE move wasn't both spammable and nearly impossible to dodge. And if you dodge it incorrectly it can fuck up your invincibility frames making you take a ton more damage
This cheesy tactic still wont work for, let's just say, below average players

Thats pretty much the problem with the DLC.
You can't go in with any build/weapon, learn the moveset, try hard and win.
You can but it's not fun and unreasonable. I don't want to be stuck 20 hours on this boss playing RNG with his moveset. it's not fun.

@@gelade Yeah sure. But its too much work at which point its not fun anymore. For example learning gale was fun, most of his moves you can straight up dodge with good enough timing. Radahn was just a chore for me(I've beaten him yesterday btw).

Elden Ring is fun exploring maps and trying different build. For example the dragon boss takes hours with my str build, but bleed build melted the boss like nothing.

I’d also recommend using vow of the indomitable if you’re having trouble dodging the grab and don’t want to use Miquella’s great rune

I used the Sword Lance+25 and the haligtree greatshield.
Bloke poked my way to victory. Wasn't flashy, but I'm just glad I got the job done

THANK YOU! it took upwards of 40 or 50 attempts but using your method I finally defeated him, with only 13 in scadutree fragments, and I got all of his rewards using the Mausoleums in the main game, fuck fighting him again 😂
OMG I spent like 2 hours on this boss yesterday doing bleed until I finally beat him and then I see this video on my recommended also good job this video is great and this would definitely work if I fought the boss again
plz explain how you beat him with bleed, all i got is scav/bandit jump bleed build at lvl 164 and my mimic tear with the usual suspect talismans

Somehow I beat this bullshit boss, by the literal skin of my teeth. Doing this DLC on NG+7 above was absolute torture. You could be wearing a full set of demigod armour with the most turtle talismans in the game… and everything still kills you in 2 to even 1 hit. It’s borderline masochism trying to enjoy how breathtaking & beautful the DLC is, when you are constantly backtracking for the site of grace only to get sniped or wombo combed into oblivion just to start all over again. I didn’t beat this DLC, *I survived it*
Exactly I’m in ng+6 and I literally don’t know what to do in stock on radhan and even something like a basic spawn enemy can two tap me at 80 vigor and max armor it’s insane
On ng 6 took two days for the insect lady 😭😭💀😂 just to see Radahn come down the stairs 😂😂😂😂

My cheese strategy was using the stone shield and the bloody finger spear. Block attack and let blood lost do its thing. Of course, moving around to recover stamina and avoiding his hits. I did die a bunch though but finally beat him doing this with a little bit more patience.
I’ve been trying to get the tree blessing to 20, can’t find any guides for the ones I’m missing and Fextralife doesn’t even have them all. Only at 13 now.
Also is the new ash of war better than Lions Claw? The other Lion one, it’s Lions Claw but twice.

The bonk is back. Hahaha. BTW I did the same strategy but with a regular club. Lion claw is the best ash of war. I am glad they got a newer version as well for the dlc. Even Radahn is rocking it.

The second phase destroys me ps4. Since it lags because of all the effects, my inputs get delayed and struggle to get behind radhan to about the lasers

HOW TO MAKE THIS SLIGHTLY EASIER: quit out until radahn doesn’t use his gravity attack and spawn your mimic, and use black flames protection, golden vow, and instead of blade of mercy use haligdrake talisman +2
Black flames protection can stack with golden vow. You can replace Boiled Crab with black flames protection if you have extra faith.

how do you wear this set and weapon without being heavy weighted? I wear the great jar arsenal and Erdtree favor +2 and still heavy

It sucks I’ve always been able to breeze through the first phase but the second phase I get flash banged which doesn’t help with my colossal build I get hit then I get comboed up by the light attacks can’t even see what direction he’s swiping cause the light
try parry, it makes phase two more manageable
What’s your build ? How come you’re that resistant ? I got one shot or 2 hits max before dying while I have all the benediction and so on.

idk if they nerfed something or buffed radahns poise but it takes a lot more to poise break him. this doesn't really work as of now (or you were like level 700, which then auto negates the point of the whole thing as your overall defensive stats will be nowhere near this)

im level 400 and ng+8, this helped me alot, sadly i needed to summon my mimic tear cuz radahn one shot me every. single. hit.
and thats why this is a bad build for ng+7 it dont function as good... its more luck as a achievment in my opinion.... the same with all the one or two shot builds are journey1 or 2 withl lvl160😅😅😅...

Bloodfiend(s) Arm, maxed out @ 25 with Lion's claw rocks, found this out early - almost carries me through this DLC. Now will search for better armor. This I think is not "cheese", just trying to beat difficult enemies with strong weapons.

I only had a NG+ character. Lion's claw seemed like the only thing doing some decent damage lol.
Fun fact if you get grabbed twice in phase two you’ll get the gesture “Let Us Go Together”

With shadow blessing at +15 and normal shrimps in NG+1 he melt my HP bar with 2 attacks, any advice?
Try ironjar aromatics or spend time exploring for more blessing leave this final boss for last.
i was running with a greatshird (fingerprint stone shield). it negates all physical damage so I only had to be patient and get 1-2 strike, keep on blocking and dodge his few grav attacks. Overall it was an easy method and not really fun but it works

When i first got to that boss i was at +12. I was getting 2 shot in his phase 1 and my damage was decent. I decided to explore and later came back with a +20 and still was getting 2 shot in his phase 1, beat him in 5-6 tries after that. Idk wtf is this new system cuz +12 or +20 literally makes no difference in terms of damage negation and is just bs

i literally can't beat him as a sorc...tried diff sorc builds dif armor sets his barrage of attacks leaves little opening to cast and even then spells don't do much damage vs him so far...only spell that i've seen do decent dmg was bleed spell i used which was a garbo blood swarm spell : / not sure how to go about him feel like i'll be forced to reroll melee to just beat him NG7 roll over fcked me

Max level, all scadutree fragments, tank armour, malenia great rune, boiled prawn, and buffs.
Scadutree Blessing 20 and other defence buffs. Only blocked once 1:29 in the video.

Have you tried savage lions claw? It lets you do 2 in a row I feel it would dps him so hard
Just tried it, the 2 in a row one is too slow, doesnt stagger fast enough and take too much stamina

If you can summon it before you die, sure. It's easy to get hit by this mf while summoning with you don't have Ansbach or some co-op buddy to distract him.

For people that want an even easier kill on Radahn in like 7 attacks use bloodfeind arm with a bleed infusion and 70 arcane and 50 strength. With that just do a fully charged heavy a couple times and he’ll die
TYSM, I only had 65 strength and 48 Arcane and it took me like 10 tries (after the previous 20 something with the above method) :)

I could beat him no prob if not for his meteor attack. It one shots me no matter what and i have no idea how to avoid or block it.
For the face transition meteor attack just run away to the side to avoid it. For the normal meteor, try spring left and jump or roll.

Your level doesn't mean much. Its all about the blessing. Without them this strategy is impossible

Normally he's weak to fire and bleed
Ending up cheesing him w fingerprint shield, and the serpent hunter. Put most my points in vigor, endurance, strength. Can hit him while holding up the shield. Only had 17 Scadutree blessing wasn’t bad.
