mama has terrible camera work and lighting so txt posted this to show how amazing their performance actually was!! Im glad you watched this first because sadly their perfomance was not filmed well :( txt still ate that stage up though so i hope you enjoy the real stage also!!
As always, Mama's camerawork didn't do justice to this amazing performance. Specially, they failed to capture 90% of this incredible dance break. We didn't even notice the rain in the actual performance video. That's how bad the lighting was. Heartbreaking but not surprised. They put so much hatdwork to these performances just to get worse camerawork every single year. But so proud of our boys. This dance break is clearly one of their best ♡
It's not that we didn't notice the rain. Mama didn't supply the things they needed for it during the performance despite having put in the applications for it. Just yet another way (besides the abysmal camera work) that they mistreated the boys.
There was rain in the actual performance? I never saw any at all. I'll have to rewatch it again.

You are right their formations and transitions are always top notch. TXT really has one of the most fascinating and hardest choreos out there.
They worked so hard for last year's Mama perfomance that everyone was pissed about how much of a bad videography and stage lighting job was made when TXT performed.
Even the staff posted about their anger and disdain towards MNET/MAMA. It was really disheartening to watch these boys suffer for their hardwork gone in vain.
This year MNET/Mama did the same thing.
We were lucky to get that one good shot of Soobin and Taehyun otherwise they really missed EVERYTHING to the point were you couldn't even see the rain during Soobin's part.
It's ridiculous really. And I'm amazed at how professional TXT handle everything, they still delivered an amazing perfomance at Mama.
But yeah that's why they probably made this dance practice so epic as a slap in the face to Mnet/Mama to show them how it's done.
Even Taehyun on Weverse said that's how it should be done. Let that sink in, if he himself actually says that.
Also I'm pretty sure if the other's didn't collaborate on the Endless Rain perfomance they would have fucked that one up too. I don't get how one could not like these boys. They are sweetest and most genuine out here in the Kpop industry and that's RARE.
Anyways TXT are amazing thank you for making this video and I hope you'll watch some of their TO DO Episodes they are so fun to watch!

Mama never fails to piss me off. Even Taehyun threw some shade at them since the rain effect was not seen during the show because of how bad the lighting was.
