TXT and ITZY had a big importance on the progression of 4th gen kpop. At that time other 4th gen groups have debuted before them,but it was never loud like when Txt and Itzy debuted. All the terms and title of “4th gen It group” and so on was made because of them.
This video will always have a special place in my heart. I remember all the predebut introductions and this dropped and it was such a monster rookie debut. And I’ve been proud of them every step of the way. 😊
txt was the first group that i got into since pre-debut when the group was first announced. i wish i could've been there for bts in 2013 but i didn't know they existed yet :( regardless, crown is such a nostalgic song and such an absolutely solid debut. bighit really went all out for their first group since bts. i'm proud of where txt are now, but i still come back to this song and realize nothing will ever hit the way a debut hits. it's a feeling you only feel when a group debuts with an absolute banger of a song. (sugar rush ride, new rules, 9 3/4 run away, can't you see me, and blue hour are my other favorite songs by them). (i also remember thinking how absolutely jarring it was to see taehyun's face for the first time and see how much him and jonghyun look alike. that was really shocking. it's not often that i think idol's look all that alike, but wow.)
It’s hard to believe that this is the exact same group that headlined Lolla last year just almost 5 years apart. I remember watching their debut show on Mnet and thinking “wow they’re gonna go far.” Like with BTS, I wasn’t there when they debuted, but TXT was the first time I actually saw a group debut and I loved their debut and the members. I actually wish they perform this song more often when they go on tour{their first concert, which was ACT; BOY, had Crown as their opener and then for ACT; LoveSick, which was their first official tour post pandemic, they did Crown in a mini medley with Magic Island and then went into Blue Hour, then for last year’s tour Act; Sweet Mirage, they didn’t do it at all} because i feel like there are Moas who would love to see this song live but at the same time, they’re so far away from this concept now that getting this song in a setlist for tour is now a 1 in a billion chance.
I know this probably isn't the video to comment this on but I just wanna say thank you. You've helped me a lot for the past 2 or so years. I love you so much from the bottom of my heart. I don't know where i wouldve been without you in my life, even though u don't know me. ❤❤❤

Bro crown is the hardest to include in a video nd not get freaking blocked ,also the reaction channels always cut out the crown reaction as it is almost impossible to include. How did u survive man
