I had one of these brand new in white, blue, w/ gold wheels. Gave it away for $500 few years later. DIdn't understand how awesome it was at the time. All I can say is Dohh! Head slap. I so want that thing back. Now getting GSX8R!
the 'just needs a carb clean' quote really is an international thing hahaha. I bought a cm450 in Europe and I had to swap out both the engine and carborateurs to make it sort of run good
Awesome bike man....wow that thing moves. Cool to see you doing the walk around like your dad does man....your living the dream man, don't let it go brother...my bucket list is to visit the museum one day when my young daughter gets her own life...and I'm only in Pa so I'm not that far....keep the channel going guys, absolutely one of my favorites...
@@KingCast65 2 carbs, 4 sliders... pain in the as to tune... but if you consider they were made specially for that bike, you must think that japanese knew what they were doing... i installed ignitech ignition, tuned the carbs... done a little racing with my friend who has Bandit 600, i blowed him, no sight of him in the mirrors, couldn't believe my eyes.. very, very good bike... cruising on the highway at 130km/h, fuel consumption 4.5L/100km, couldn't ask for more!

Currently have the 85 it needs the full Monty but has so much potential it’ll be a fun rebuild for my oldest boy and myself. That one has the full fairing mine is a different designation does not have the lower fairing
Nice, I have the same bike but the only difference is that I have a little different paint design but same color, and it's a EF!! Hard to find these beautiful bikes but idk if it's rare and what the value of these bikes are.
Thanks for the video. This bike is good for super ride. I will be back to America - Straight to Kaplan ride on. God bless America country of Freedom and liberty
Had one in New Zealand best little touring bike ever. I used to do 600kms a day (375 miles) on some stretches and got off the bike as if I had just ridden down the road. Heaps of fun on the twisties. I had a Laser 4-1 tuned exhaust sounded awesome.
Those cold salty roads had me nervous for ya.I know you're a good rider but shit happens.I usually stuck w/ Kawasaki or Honda for the street but the GS Suzuki were quick even by today's standards.Wouldn't take much to make it perfect!
I don't ever think I've seen him run across or hype up a Honda Supersport 400 four. Those were highly desired mid-70s bikes back in the 80's which should be now as far as badass vintage bikes go.
My gsl1000 l is waiting here in Wyoming for a review. Pristine and tuned. You want a real bike for your channel, just hit me up. She's the real deal and not for sail! I have the real GS unicorn! Hell yea.
Hey if anyone is in the auburn area of Northern California. DO NOT USE "Kyle Brothers racing" So they did trans work on my 450 dualsport. Left with an oil leak. They said to keep topping it up every few rides. Took 1 ride. Made sure new oil and at the full line. Pulled into where I was going noticing a ticking. Timing chain fucked off and lifted the head. "We didn't touch your engine. Only transmission" Ya and apparently they didnt fucking tighten OR THREADLOCK FUCKING ANYTHING!!! I WAS ABLE TO UNDO HALF THE BOLTS IN THE PARKING LOT WITH MY FINGERS!!!!!!!

Love the 80's bikes there was so much competition between the manufacturer's to be the fastest and come out with new innovations,
Mine has a Vance and Hines on it. She’s a screamer. Absolutely love this bike.
Same! Honestly makes the bike sound amazing!
The 80s bikes still look cool today
Love those 80's bikes

Yah; I had a brand-new one in '87. LOVED IT. Also had years later an Middle-Ceptor; they are about even but very different.
@@KingCast65 Pulls harder than a Bandit 600...
@@bogdanzivkovic157 Oh yah. It was amazing considering it only had 3.5 carbs LOL.

The '83 750E is pretty fun too
That bike rips.

I owned two of them. Mine had a full Wolf exhaust on it. You should've heard the sound of these bike's with a kerker exhaust on them, it was unreal.

I actually have a '78 Suzuki GS 750 E in my garage that was built from a basket. The only problem is the carbs need to be rebuilt and syncing.
Awesome bike
I had one they really run for a 550 especially on top end.
My brother had the 1150 & a friend had that one ! Suzuki hit it hard outta the park ! Very nice bike Jr I can see you like it.

I had one of these back in 1997 it went well but I found it to small so I ended up with a Honda CB 1100 F Super BolDor 😎😎
80's rock'd ....Junior......you missed out lil ' buddy. cost a lot more to make those high revving inline fours back then
That was funny, cop drives past and you honk and take off down the street with no helmet! You guys must have a understanding with each other!
Jr I've been trying to keep up with the vids and what not. When it's the big auction? Also when does Sr come back to town?
Awesome Bike.
Had a GPZ550 with a Wolf pipe. Sounded like an old F1 car lol
I want to buy one, you sell?
How much did you get for that V65 Saber. I have one that has 73,000 miles
67 triumph/1971 shovel dresser both factory
