- I think we are very near the end of content at this point.
I will try to piece up something still, but might be a time to start looking for a new game.
Please tell me if there is a recent game I should take a look at :)
My favorite recurring joke is no one knowing what time of the day it is.
If I was in Hades I would go by whatever time of day it is in the mortal realm but make it the opposite
@@GenshinLover283 problem is none of them know what time it is in the mortal realm either
Zagreus: Lady Nyx, do you know what time it is?
Nyx: Well, my child, technically it’s night time whenever I’m here
Zagreus: I… never thought of it like that…
Its 7:48
Hades' annoyance every time you change the environment is so funny.
2:06 Hades being the complete dad when Zagreus changes his thermostat
Ancient greek dads: Who add another log on the hearth?
@@alienalchemist I SCREAMED
@@alienalchemist oh that's good
2:14 "The climate in this house is perfectly attuned as it is!" - Hades being the "don't touch the thermostat" dad lol XD
Holding out the yarnball like a crucifix. "The power of character growth compels you!"
Lmao Dusa's reaction to all the bosses Zagreus fought is just so cute and funny. Especially with Hades.
Dusa: Ahh, oh no, it's him!
"Something needs cleaning up?... Am I supposed to be here, Prince?!" Poor Dusa XD
How do you do that? Like be able to summon Dusa
@@indigostudio2245 You have to form a Bond with her. You start by giving her nectars and then give her Ambrosia.
If mythology has anything to say, he can't actually apologize because after he abandoned her on the island dionysus came down and rescued her, from there they married and she was granted immortality
He literaly cannot seek her out because she's with Dionysus up on Olympus, thats kinda tragic in a way. Funny thing is that all thing considered, Ariadne took the break-up way better
@@thehermit8618 allegedly there's a line from dionysus that confirms that he abandoned her
@@jonathanredacted3245 there is
@@visionofsolace8961 do you know where I can watch it?
@@jonathanredacted3245 I forgot the specific video but it was on a dialogue compilation when this game was still in it's beta state.
Oh my god meg sounds so betrayed when saw Dusa was attacking, I don't think i've heard her like that before
You know that dialogue between Asterius and Theseus makes me wonder if Asterius knows what Theseus did to Ariadne. Because Dionysus pretty clearly states his dislike of Theseus because of what he did, so he did in fact leave Ariadne on that island. (Which makes sense as in many versions of the myth Dionysus is the one to find Ariadne and even marries her. A quite happy marriage too if I recall correctly.)
Yes, Dionysus and Ariadne were married and even freed her from the underworld when she died so she could become immortal. Even in the Dionysiaca (a book of poems that highlight the events of Dionysus’s past that has 48 books. It is very interesting and if you are into Dionysus, who is a very complicated God, then look into it) gave away his most valued object, a grape vine that used to be his last lover Ampelus to Hades (the personification of a grape vine) when he was a teenager. Ampelus died and from his grief, Dionysus turned him into a grape vine and made wine for the first time out of his blood from the grapes. It was an illustration of how Dionysus needed to learn to let go of his Greif and move on and Ariadne was made immortal and they lived together happily (though like Hades and Persephone who were uncle and niece, Dionysus and Ariadne are technically first cousins. Yet, this is Ancient Greece so don’t be to surprised)
Edit: although, Ariadne did help Theseus kill Asterius. Yet again, Asterius by being killed was freed, so I like to think he still respects her because she did aid Theseus in freeing him from himself and his everlasting hunger and cage in the maze.
0:45 ooooh! Theseus upset Asterius.
And yeah, finally, mention of Ariadne. Oh, Zagreus, causing waves among the bros.
I'm glad Asterius said something about Ariadne, haha.
Hades seems vehemently opposed to any sort of interior decorating changes.
Well asphodel is flooded so he would probably prioritize that
except the sundial
the theseus thing was just sad....
He is guilt ridden about her and can't hide it as much as he will try.
@@visionofsolace8961 best part is unless they changed it he will never find her down there. Dionysus married her and took her to Olympus after he left her on an island
@@jodah_eternal big plot twist is if Dionysus meets her because of Theseus and Zagreus, he is the Olympian Correspondent in the Underworld
In a very weird way, he could never have married her. One version of the stories mentions that if he married her, he would be guilty of murdering his brother (the Minotaur) and the Furies would drive him to madness. So he simply can't do it.
@@burnout02urza That's also true
The thing about bonding over shared disdain is absolutely true haha
"YOUR GAL'S RIGHT HERE- AHHH OH NO IT'S HIM"
I love Dusa so much, it hurts.
1:14 I don’t know if Theseus will find Ariadne. Dionysus married her and made her a goddess. In some myths, so I assume the same here.
Hades relationship with his son Zagreus not letting him do what he wants to do is like Demeter with her daughter Persephone not letting her do what she want(ed) to do.
Did hades just tell zag not to touch the thermostat
Wow thesus actually showing legit concern for atraious feelings
But what is the point of the memory erasing lake if reincarnation doesn't happen? Just asking the myths lol
Is there anything special for beating the game at max heat?
Apparently no one has managed to do so yet, something about the difficulty exponentially jumping up the higher you go
there was one guy who did 53 heat
Even the 32 heat Skelly challenge has no achievement tied to it, so I am guessing nothing special happens if you crank up the heat over that.
Ok I’m not that late
Imagine 😩 not knowing what the hell is going on with all the characters outfits,,
ha. yeah :)
