I love this interview and I love the format. However one thing that puts me off is just how loud the interviewer is. I understand that you are excited but there is no need to literally scream and talk so loudly. Just a personal opinion.
I'm so fucking happy they got this right the best adaptations stay true to the source material while making changes that make it fit better into the tv format and this does that perfectly
Actually, I agree, it is better than I expected, but... The cast is great, the production design is great (well, Nilfgaardian armor aside, the mysterious black knight pursuing Ciri doesn't look neither mysterious nor menacing dressed in black dragon's scrotum), the visuals are mostly great. That being said, they completely f**ed up the story. I get that they wanted Game of Thrones scale right from the start (and the first two books are mostly people talking to each other), but the story feels like screenwriters read the books and adapted its events to screen without understanding what's it's all about. On its own, it's probably good (hard to judge because I've read the books, but my wife who refused to read the books and play the games loves it... considering that I've explained WTF is happening from time to time as we watched), but I can't help but feel sad that they didn't just make 6 40-minute episodes for 6 stories from the first book for the first season. That would be not as flashy, but much better story (meaning better reviews from both fans and people unfamiliar with what's going on), much cheaper to shoot (meaning less risks overall) and leave much more for subsequent seasons (better long-term strategy). Why they didn't go that route is beyond me.
great series, solid first season and i liked that it was about all 3 of them. Infact Anya i found believable, her chemistry with Caville was spot on. Infact all of them held my attention very well. watched the whole series, well worth the watch after the disspointment of Starwars, thankfully this series delivered.
Anya was amazing, especially as the hunchback. Freya was brilliant as Ciri, albeit it felt a bit different from the Game ciri. I hope Season 2 is her being trained in Kaer Mohren, that would be sick

A great series so far, although I'm a little bit disappointed that Ciri already went to Brokilon and that Geralt seems to know who Ciri is already.
