Mine gets in on Thursday! The Explorer 2 has always been a favorite of mine, and it’s amazing I don’t feel like I need to wait another decade to comfortably afford something in that style. Great video.
@@Mackster248I received the c60 40mm which I bought 2 weeks ago already with the updated clasp. Same as the old one but shorter. The watch came with a note about the updated clasp.
Just ordered my 36 in black with the bracelet shown for exactly the reason you mentioned. The other bracelet on offer shortened the look too much and for a 36mm watch it should not be "squat" on the wrist. I cant wait for it to arrive. Nice brief review :)
bought the 36 on the back of your review. Thank you!!! The white dial makes it look a lot larger than the 36mm suggests. On a nato or bracelet the watch, again due to the dial, looks more 37/38. It's going to get a lot of wrist time
What’s the size of the explorer II that was sitting next to it? 40mm? They looked almost identical in size. Amazing what the proportions of watch can do. The dial to case ratio makes them look more similar in size that I would have expected.
Your comments about large watches making wrists look smaller is ***100% spot on*** and unfortunately under-appreciated. Thank you for making the comments. That's why classic men's watches were the size they were long ago....
As usual a very good review! 36mm is the best watsch size for me, even I am 190cm tall, but I like it, when there is empty space beside the watch, the 36mm Marathon officers watch is my most beloved one. Nevertheless for me (only for me) there are design errors on the Christopher Ward: The hour Hand is wrong (for me) The GMT Hand is much to yellow/orange. I hope you will make a review of the new "Rangeman" - I would like to hear your damnation of this absolute not Rangeman watch. Have a wonderful evening!
why people keep telling any 24h fixed steel bezel gmt a rolex gmt2 homage? I really dont get it. To me the sealander GMT(s), 36 or 39mm, is on it's own design.
The 36 looks really good on you. You must have pretty small wrists. I mean that it doesn’t look small on you. But you do have manly arms hands and wrists. What is your wrist size?
I had the 39mm Sealander GMT and got rid of it after getting my Pelagos 39 and Explorer 1 because they got all the wrist time…now CW released the Sealander GMT in 36mm and I want one again, such nice design and functionality in 36mm, I need one!
@@Carl_Donaldson I know, these two are great, but that doesn’t mean I have a free space in the collection for another CW, I really appreciate the brand for listening to their community and making great quality watches for a fair price plus the “Explorer II vibes” in a 36mm case is something that’s hard to find and so far, this seems like the best watch in that category.
I disagree with your statement that it’s difficult to find a travelers GMT at this price point. With the use of the Miyota 9075 movement, there are plenty of watches under the sub 1000$ price range with a travelers GMT, substantially undercutting the price of this watch.
A 36mm (or 37, or even 38) Exp II would be fantastic. This CW is a nice try but unfortunately it is a "caller" GMT, not a "flyer", and therefore inappropriate as a travel watch. Still waiting!
High quality and affordable 36mm watches are a rare breed sadly...
Let's be real 36's are feminine.
The proportions of the 36 look perfect. The 39 looks like it has a huge face and the bezel looks tiny in comparison.

The clasp looks gigantic 😮
That’s the downside of most clasps with a lot of tool-free micro adjustment.
i read somewhere that CW plans to update their clasp sometime this year to have a slimmer profile.

That trident on the second hand is just BAD ASS!
Nice watch! How long is the clasp?

It's 39mm measured although everyone says it's 40mm, and yes, proportions are much more important than pure numbers
amazing how much face size makes a difference! Good call!

Beautifully shot and edited video.
ne mogu se odlučit između tog crnog ili dragonfly plavog ili C60 atoll... Atoll mi se sviđa zbog obruba, ali cifr mi je "pre ljetni" :( help?

Yes the hour hand is wrong. Also would wish that indices are shorter. Besides that very good looking dial.
Hello! Does the bracelet on the 36 mm watch taper?
@Watch Geek I Really Enjoyed Your Review Of This Very Nice Looking Watch Which Looks Great On You!!! 😎👍
I wish the motorcycle producers does the same (offer one model in more than one size) ;)
Great video. When you show this model next to the Rolex Explorer 2 at 3m53s is that the 36mm version ? Thanks
36mm CW next to a 40mm Rolex Explorer II (which is actually 39mm when measured)
@@WatchGeek thanks 👍🏻
The 36mm has loads of presence and at first glance looks better proportioned. Plus you get the benefit of the significantly smarter looking logo.
I feel that $1250 for a Sellita movement is just too rich. My Glycine Combat Sub 36mm (not a GMT) was $372 on Ashford. Is the CW worth 3.3x??

I'd get the CW over the Crowlex, no second thought. For a fraction of the price (down) and a fraction of fun (up!). Easy peasy.
Cw is just really good
What’s your wrist size please?
Thanks in advance

Why you retrying to compare these? They are completely different movements
Really? Which is the better?
What’s your wrist size?

Genuinely questioning whether I want me Rolex Explorer 2 216570 seeing this…
The photography is stunning.. disappointed with that long clasp. This one is 100% buy for me just want a smaller clasp

At 1:30, I just noticed the hideous gap between the bracelet and the lugs 🤦🏻♂️. Come on CW you’re way better than this…
Much ado about a Rolex Explorer II copy with a ridiculous logo.
super skinny "phase"? what in the name of metamorphosis is going on with your body?

Can one of you touts talk about their horrible customer service and how they don’t answer the phone or respond to emails
They always reply my emails

i like how everyone on here comment that CW is much better than a Rolex.
Rolex are watches for noobs.
