    Great video. Glad they FINALLY sent you a part. This is what is making me so Undecided about purchasing any of the EBikes.....Customer Service. I worked in sales, parts and service for over 35 yrs & I always made sure to do anything to make my customers happy. I might not can solve the problem right away, but always let them know I was still trying to resolve the issue. I guess they should call these "Throw Away EBikes". That's what I call products they have no intention on customer service or repeat business. You have way more patience than I would have had. Working to help my customers leave me little for those that dont. 🚲😎

    I purchased a Cyrusher Ovia last month for Mrs.K but had a bad faulty cadance sensor. Cyrusher sent a new one and I had Velofix install it. Since Velofix was tuning up my MC Crusier Pro, Velofix didn't charge me for the sensor install as it took only about 10 minutes. The Cyrusher now works perfect so Mrs.K and I will be going on some dual rides. Sorry to hear your experience with Mokwheel and the sensor issue. Hopefully Magicycle is sending you their new Deer Mini for review!!!! Ride on!

    Appreciate the info you have posted on the Mokwheel Basalt, purchased one 1 mo ago. Have my own issue with noise from the front wheel, the diagnosis so far is a bearing, awaiting its repair at a local shop. Mokwheel sending parts. I have a question. What front rack did you fit to the front? It does not appear to be a Mokwheel accessory, I do not like their basket, and want something like your front rack that will fit the bolt pattern. Thank you for any info. Al

      I purchased the front rack from Mokwheel about two months ago. I don't know if they still sell them or not. The way they run their business' its anyone's guess. Hope you get your front end fixed.

      @@EbikeReviews I feel the same way you do, I love the bike for what it is. But the must be overwhelmed, because communication is slow. I have the bike at a Pedego shop. The owner there has been fantastic. I was not very aware of them and may have explored their offerings. But can’t wait to get more time with the Basalt. Thank you for getting back. Al

    At least it was interesting watching you . . apply the fix. Mokwheel should listen to you and clean up their reputation.

    Hi. Do you ever feel the need to put a board in the rear basket to prevent anything from falling through?

      Yes, tried buying some yesterday, but the saw at lowes was broke so they couldn't cut it for me. But I will be adding wood to the bottom of all my racks.

    Have you had any problems with the error connection showing up on the display. After 3 weeks, I finally received the display, but it did not fix the error..very poor customer service.

      Possibly in the bottom of the battery compartment.

    I may be late to the party, but is this an older model or did you switch out the torque sensor for a cadence? It looks like the Basalt comes with a torque sensor.

    • @EbikeReviews
      @EbikeReviews  Год назад

      It the first generation model that has a cadence sensor and a twist throttle. After the first batch the company switched parts and didn't tell anyone, didn't update the website right away so some customers bought the older model but the new model showed up. Caused a lot of confusion.

      @@EbikeReviews It looks like an interesting bike and has what I want - a torque sensor and a bigger battery, but your experience with customer support worries me. The other two fat-tire e-bikes with torque sensors that I'm familiar with(Aventon and Area13) have smaller batteries.

      @@Joerides7 I don't have experience with the brand, but check out HOVSCO HovAlpha. It comes in a step over and a step thru. www.hovsco.com/collections/off-road-1/products/hovsco-hovalpha-step-thru-26in-electric-fat-bike . If you contact them, please let them know I referred you. I wont get anything out of the sale, but I want them to know I have sent people there to look. Maybe one day they will finally respond to my emails and let me do a review. :-)

    This is an old video. I’m really interested in all the features their trike has but when I click on the link to email support what do my eyes see?? Chinese characters in the email header and in the body. Although I’m Asian I couldn’t tell you what it said except that I’m really leery of ordering a bike from them. However…. They’re having a really good (not the greatest) but really good online sale for 😂Halloween. Decision decision
