- We recently went to the new Buc-ee's in Smiths Grove Kentucky. It is located about twenty minutes North of Bowling Green. It opened June of 2024. It is about and hour and a half drive from where we live. This location has 120 gas pumps and 53,000 square feet of shopping space. There's nothing like hearing 'fresh brisket on the board'. We give you a look around and show you what we purchased.
We love Buc-ee's! Some refer to it as the 'redneck's Costco'. No matter what you call it, it is quite an experience and has taken on a life all its own.

Buc-ee’s is such a great place to stretch your legs on a road trip. They are usually crowded but we find they do a good job of getting people through the lines. They have so many good snacks! That brisket is delicious. Their fudge and nuts and beaver nuggets and sandwiches are all wonderful. I just wish we lived near one. But I am always glad to find one on our road trips!
They are good at getting people through checkout pretty quickly 😊

The one we "visited" was jam packed with people. It was as loud as a rock concert! Glad ya had a good time

We haven’t been to Buc-ee’s YET. Looking forward to it one day. Snacking is probably my number one favorite activity. The brisket looks fantastic! One day we’ll get there. I would “wander aimlessly” too! Feeling the country vibe.

I visited the one at Fort Lauderdale. Beaver nuggets and a barbecue sandwich! Only only wish they had them in Indiana!
Yes that would be nice! They are building a WaWa in Clarksville. That’s good too for snacks sandwiches and such but no merchandise like Buc-ee’s. The ground has been cleared but not sure when it will be finished.

We are moving near one of the buc-ees in TN next year. We were so surprised by the price of ice! We do purchase from their spices and sauce section each trip.
They have so many variety of snacks that we have yet to try. Our closest is an hour and a half drive. Wish we had one a bit closer. It’s easy to spend way more than you intend. They have such cute merch

It is an experience for sure! You need to go at least once to see what all the hype is about.

This is a chain of gas stations in the U. S. That people go bonkers over. 😅
Doesn’t look to busy, the one I went to was too busy to look around, I just got a sandwich and left 🤪
We went in a weekday around 10am and it wasn’t bad at all. I hear on the weekends they are a zoo!
