Hi Draganbaralic! Make sure the surface doesn't have moving elements, reflections, glares... I would recommend trying with an easier clip to see if it's a problem with your video's surface or if you might be doing something wrong.
@@SergiomotaENG it is wall of bricks, i make 100%like you, but my clips is on 120 fps
The fps shouldn't influence it. Which step is going wrong, and what exactly is happening?

So clear. Great instruction . But is this a better method than the video you did on putting an image on the cat.. where you used the colour tab nodes to track. Or should these two methods be used for different situations.. thank you for your great work
Hi Philipp! These are different methods, this one is mainly for flat surfaces.
In the cat tutorial, we use "Surface Tracking." You can see how the text adapts to the movements and shape of the cat,
that's something you won't achieve with Planar Tracker, the result is completely different.

But now i want to change the text tracked constantly , how can i do it, because we arent working in timline but node, so if i create a lot of texts, i don know how to put them in orders i want in the timeline, can you show me tutorial for this. Shift Space for mac users
What if your shot has scale and parrallax or rotation? How would you set your planar track
For the shortcut to find effects for mac for me it's Shift Space not command space which is for Spotlight search
Hi i am having a problem, Media pool button isnt showing up how can i fix that or is there any other way of importing videos to nodes?
Is this effect available in the free version?
Im guessing this would work the same if I wanted to add a gif or another video onto the wall? Just curious.
to save even more time:
- don't click on an input field that's already in focus. Once you hit ctrl+space you can start typing.
- don't click on add after typing the effect name, just hit Enter since you're already on the keyboard typing.
- if the inspector isn't already open and selecting a node isn't enough, just double click on the node.
- click on Go instead of manually going back to the reference frame.

Can I ask a question. I put an image starting from the middle of the video but when I see it the image is from the beginning of the video and when it reaches the point I set then it starts to stay still
can you show me how to track if there is a persons head in front of the object you want to track?

This ***** Tracker never works for me. It's never gonna full track the whole clip, always stops at some frames without any reason & wont track to the beginning at all. Watched so many videos or whatever .. it's so frustrating :(

For some reason, my planar tracker tracks only 1 frame before stopping and finishing. Is there any reason you know of to fix this? Thanks for you help!
