    Those guidelines are always hard to remember . This simple classification , breaking the topics into small parts really helping to understand sooo easily. In my medical school professors used to say we are getting spoon feeding 😟 but I never felt like that sir . Now your teaching is really simple, clear , thorough and spoon feeding sir..     Moderately obese hypertensive(bp is under control with single antihypertensive) pt without previous ASCVD but estimated 10yrs risk is 2.5% who is having obstructive sleep apnea,
    whether statins to be added or life style modification is sufficient,

    Thank you. But i think that you mean (regarding the dose of Omega-3 fatty acids) 3-5 GRAMS and not milligram in the treatment of TG more than 500.
    Moreover do we have to add statin in addition to fenofibrate and omega-3 in the case of TG more than 500 mg/dl?

    According to Harrison’s HDL plays a protective role in preventing CAD, and atherosclerosis related pathologies but here you taught there are no reports stating such information. So, my question is whether we should suggest patients to maintain a decent level of HDL or it plays no role in preventing MI or Stroke etc.
