Great video sir Thank you soooo much Those guidelines are always hard to remember . This simple classification , breaking the topics into small parts really helping to understand sooo easily. In my medical school professors used to say we are getting spoon feeding 😟 but I never felt like that sir . Now your teaching is really simple, clear , thorough and spoon feeding sir.. I started watching ur videos in break time at work & saving them doc. I am watching GP videos sir .those helping me understand & remember prcisely & briefly manner.God bless you sir 🤝🤝🤝🙏🙏🙏🙏

Very informative video sir, 🎉 Moderately obese hypertensive(bp is under control with single antihypertensive) pt without previous ASCVD but estimated 10yrs risk is 2.5% who is having obstructive sleep apnea, whether statins to be added or life style modification is sufficient,
Thank you. But i think that you mean (regarding the dose of Omega-3 fatty acids) 3-5 GRAMS and not milligram in the treatment of TG more than 500. Moreover do we have to add statin in addition to fenofibrate and omega-3 in the case of TG more than 500 mg/dl?
Your teaching style and way of providing information is awesome.. I want to ask a q..my ldl level is 132mg / dl ..did i have to take statin or only life style modification is sufficient?
Thank you so much for this discussion. A pt had h/o PCI, he was on statin. Now current LDL is 60, TG 550 and exclude the causes of high TG. What will be the treatment option?
According to Harrison’s HDL plays a protective role in preventing CAD, and atherosclerosis related pathologies but here you taught there are no reports stating such information. So, my question is whether we should suggest patients to maintain a decent level of HDL or it plays no role in preventing MI or Stroke etc.
Dear sir, I work in Islamabad Pakistan,it has been a myth among physicians here that in the subcontinent population, people are more prone to myopathies and myalgias with use of high intensity statins so they mostly cut half the dose.whats your opinion on that?

Sir can u elaborate the treatment of low HDL
Sir ..in health centres (govt set up) only total cholesterol measurement is available..how can we prescribe with that?
According to Harrison’s HDL plays a protective role in preventing CAD, and atherosclerosis related pathologies but here you taught there are no reports stating such information. So, my question is whether we should suggest patients to maintain a decent level of HDL or it plays no role in preventing MI or Stroke etc.
Maintain good level of HDL is important.
