@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel mines a similar build, white hides the trail rash better. Videos are great, music choices are good, got some of that Deadwood vibes.
The channel has gotten so good. Seriously enjoying what you’re doing and appreciate you guys sharing. I’ve done the Mojave trail from Baker to Laughlin and no way I would’ve been able to produce a video. It’s a lot of work putting these together.
Thank you man! I was wondering how everyone was going to take to the switch of content. I love doing stuff like this and hoped it would be enjoyable for viewers, so I appreciate the feedback. Lots of clips of me jogging around picking up cameras after scenes haha
So once again, our equipment choices converge. I have been leaning towards that ARB 8' awning you have, but I've always been attracted to 270's with their wider coverage and sometimes pole-less capability. Weight and cost have me looking at the ARB. How do you like it?
It’s one of our favorite pieces of equipment. We love the 8x8 size, tons of shade. Also with the two poles I’ve been anchoring it down with a strap at each corner to something heavy like a propane tank and a gear box, and I’ve been getting away with leaving it out through 20mph wind days. I like some of the 270’s as well. Let me know what you end up with.
I just downloaded the trail online and uploaded it to Gaia on my iPad. As for camping, I just look for routes that head toward the hills! Have a blast!
Just found this video/channel. Enjoying the content. I was in that big group you ran into at the tubes lol. There is a nice way to bypass the whoop section. We do this trail every memorial weekend and finally found a way around those whoops. Check out the Trailchasers Podcast. Would be great to have you guys out with us. Keep up the great work. Safe travels.
Haha no way! You guys had a huge convoy! We thought you were all camped not far from us that night? I think it would be a blast running with other folks, I’d finally be able to use my comms... lol I’ll check it out for sure, and thank you!
This sounds like a dumb question and perhaps too personal, but when camping in that style of overlanding, is harder to have sex together so maybe skip during the trip and wait till you get home from the trip?
That pizza looked so good!
Great video..never knew about the Lava tubes..
Stop in and check it out, pretty cool spot!
Great truck!
Thank you. So far it's been great!
