Definitely looks worth it! Making all the connections probably the best part! Didn't realize there was so many events you could participate in.
It was great. Not every day you can talk to people about nerdy youtube stats and they actually understand and are.
When you talked about different ways to get to the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas (not Dallas), you failed to mention the DART train that you even saw behind you! You can get a day pass for $3 and it takes you all over! Even the airport and downtown Dallas.
Great tip, I had to idea. It's kind of like how Medieval Times is here in Shaumburg but call it Medieval Times Chicago. That's why I labeled it Irving Texas right in the beginning of the video.
@@SantosChronicles I went to Medieval Times there with a gf of the time back at the end of 2019. Fun place.

Looks like such a fun event...esp the top floor!!! 😅😅😅 what a fun networking experience...AI scares ME! Sometimes I have to rethink how much I video and who in our family is getting face time without completely changing our content. You had some exciting networking opportunites!
I have been want to go for the past 5 years, and I'm so glad I went. If you can't tell, I'm people person. And no way I would have been able to talk to most of this people on my own. I'll be going next year again for sure.
For $1000, I don’t know if it’s worth it. How many RUclipsrs just hung out outside, or in the hotel lobby?

I didn't notice any, but I also wasn't looking. The first night party and in between sessions is where I met most folks.

Loved that Architectural Concrete Elevator Core there in the building at the beginning! That's the kind of formwork I design sometimes! Ya talk about being in your element! I don't think I would get as much out of the networking aspect bc I'm not near as socially outgoing! If the RMSiblings came with me we'd probably draw some attention... but I think they'd be bored out of their minds! 🙂 I hope something cool happens with that Chicago guy! Nice job of chunking 3 days into a nice length! WOW 16 minutes! Thats gotta be one of your longest. I didn't really notice though, it moved quickly!
The building is beautiful and at night it even lights up. 16 minute video is going to be very rare, took a little of my soul editing. It was fun but I generally prefer 6-9 min videos. But this one was a walk through of the whole event so I thought it made sense making it one video. And each day was like 12 hour days. Glad it didn't feel slow, that was what I was worried about.

What I love about it is that anyone I talk to, i can talk about RUclips shop talk. In the real world, people would look as weird talking about retention, CPM, mediakit, etc.

I love being early and much easier when it's just me. Would have been cool to see Mr. Beast, but he was filming his new Amazon Prime show. Everyone was so nice and I can't wait to go back next year.

It’s not really a walkable area.
Yea, it's not walk about as Witchita. So many lane of traffic and I'm not even sure if there is a side walk in some areas. But may be next year, I'll pay extra and just go to the Westin and I can cross the street! I'm not tough like you and Ron 😂
