Morning Jimbo. This weather is just pants isn't it. Even this morning its meant to be glorious and I'm looking out of the window to a gloomy wet one! All the best to you and Mrs Boredman
@@BoredManOutdoors Doing well. This weekend is a big holiday for us in the States so looking forward to staying home and far away from the beach traffic!
Nice vid Jim and lovely views from that monument. We were so lucky with the weather during our stay in Argyll last month. We only 1 morning of rain all week and that was when we were driving from Campbeltown to the Isle of Seil anyway. Still, there's something very atmospheric when the rain stops and the sun pokes its heed through the clouds. As long as the midges don't do the same like.
Nice video, Jim. I was confused when I saw you going that way to Dalmally, but you reminded me of that sneaky road between Inverary and Loch Awe that I spotted in Maps the other day, so I assume you did that. That’s a cracking monument, I knew nothing about, must check it out and some of his poetry too.
Hi Jim, nice short one with some culture 👍. Which is the lesser of two evils? Getting eaten alive by the midgets or getting a good soaking a few times while out walking? I was up in Assynt last week and it was just the same and I’ve come back with webbed feet. 🤣🤣🤣
Duncan Ban Mcantyre couldn't read or write and was spotted in Edinburgh, whilst trying to sell his book, reading poetry from his book which was upside down. 😀
@@BoredManOutdoors I presume that he had dictated his poems to someone so that the book could be printed. I believe he lived below Ben Dorain and was a shepherd.

Very nice getting good weather... We're well over half metre now... But looking good this weekend... Just packed and ready for the off.. ⛴️ 🏔️
The weather has been depressingly bad , truly dreadful .
Worst summer I can remember.
Just rediculously awful 😞

Thank you... 👍 It's my preferred route to either place and even Oban.. just easier than the loch side.. 😎

Tough one that but this year - I'd choose the midge ... 😳😳😳😉
Sir, your videos provide great relief from my nighttime anxiety and stress. Thank you for being so genuine.
Thank you very much.. I am very happy to help ☺️😊☺️

I think he was helped to bring his poetry to life wasn't he - is that why, because of his inability to read or write? Wow. 😯

@@andrewmilne3031 yes, I believe so.. That's what I learned too. 👍
Do you live in Scotland? The accent is throwing me!
