- Thank you for watching! I was pleasantly surprised by these clothing items! I really didn't think they'd work out quite as well as they did. What outfit do you like the most? And worry not, I found some clothes for the porcelain dolls, and have dropped them back to the thrift store. I gave them both little woollen hats with matching scarves too. I think they looked pretty cute!

Whenever my porcelain dolls break I take their clothes for my BJD's. The wigs don't work well, the porcelain dolls have more of a wig cap then an actual wig so it fits the BJD's really weirdly. She looks adorable in the outfits, I really like the blue flowered one with the hat!
That's a good idea, that way they live on 🙂 yeah I agree the wigs wouldn't be ideal, but I have heard of people using them. Thank you! I am so happy with the hat 😍
Ahh, these dolls! New World sold them, and I collected them all~ My heart burst from nostalgia just seeing the dresses in the thumbnail!

I love the floral outfit the way it is. I think it's nice to have an old fashion look for different occasions. The other one was cute as well. I think the sleeves work as a three-quarter sleeve. I'm new to BJD's and have bought many dresses but now I'm looking for value clothing or clothing for my male dolls. Thank you for this insight. It's helps to open new possibilities.

I do this a lot! Some fits are perfect, I do feel pretty bad about just using them for the dress but aehwehll

Several years ago I had one of these ceramic dolls that was costumed in the most beautify white winter wonder land outfit. I saved the outfit and tossed the doll ( she was beyond saving). I've never found a doll that could wear that outfit! I see so many of those dolls but with beyond beautiful outfits. I hate to see them go into the trash. you have given me some ideas now.
I love thrifting for doll clothes for my BJDs! Porcelain dolls though, I never thought of that!!! I always pass them over because I break things that are fragile. lol

I was so surprised the dresses fit your smart doll! I thought they would look baggy but they were so cute on her.
Red is my favorite color so with the hat that would be my preference. The blue one was adorable too and I am also
amazed that the shoes fit your other doll.

I think the sleeves look like 3/4 sleeves and look great... I would leave them long and the looseness of the garment flatters and makes her look innocent- Jennifer.... But Im a little sad over the ones that are going back to the thift

Do you mean dresses like the ones in this video, or just in general? I've only got one MSD, which is Ava, but I do intend to try find some dresses for her after the new year 🙂 I'll be sure to make a video when I do!
@@LavilyDay ah sorry for not being more clear! I meant more repurposed dresses :) I know that 1/6 dolls can wear barbie and pullip, but id like to know what kind of cheap dresses are out there for msd
@@MysticMorigan1998 oh no worries at all! I'll keep an eye out and see what I can find 🙂 There are some other doll clothes similar to Barbie (but slightly bigger I think/hope?) that I've been tempted to try. Watch this space 😉
