finally a poor guy like me can get some solid yiquan instruction . i can't afford to buy now. if things change i'll purcahse the whole course .
the distillation/concentration of skills as expressed by yiquan is very simple and profound at the same time. thx for sharing your gung fu with me.
In relation to what PMStinks wrote:
1. Who has beaten the Yao brothers and how many times have they fought?
2. How many times have Han Xing Chen fought? Did he win every time?
3. What did Yao Zongxun change?
It seems like Han Xing Chen also change some things, like remove sparring.
Trop Hollywoodien au début c'est marrant ^^ pour la tortue, les mains ne doivent pas bouger, c'est le corps qui tourne et qui descend. Les mains doivent être fixes comme posées sur des piquets. De même la marche est à pratiquer plus lentement au départ (et même tout le temps, la lenteur apporte force et équilibre et par la suite la perfection du geste ! ) mais c'est moins cinématographique et on remarque cependant l'orientation des pieds, toujours dans même direction que le regard. Je ne comprends pas les dernières marches lol mais c'est un principe de base de ne pas montrer les choses en bonne et due forme en vidéo, seule la pratique de l'art apporte la vérité !
@PMSthincs Hi, Would you guide me to the video or information of your favourite yi quan master(s)? Also, how do(es) he/she impressed you most that you can't see the Yao bros' style could accomplish? You know it's not easy for the beginners like me to understand all that just by watching clips or reading books, so, please share what you see. Thanks so much. ^_^

@YQFTW First you need to be educated on Yi Quan as it was taught by Wang Xiang Zhai.
This is true Yi Quan and once you begin to learn and receive/understand the theory you will realize it...but it does not mean you will get it...that is up to you and your internal conflict of what you have seen and think you know and the the TRUTH. Look for Han Xing Chen in Zhuhai (not his brother Han Xing Yu) He teaches Han Shi Yi quan
i watch this first time, at first 1 30 min, he looks to me like he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia while catching flies. Sorry, i had to share this with you. Dont hate, i would love to learn some good martial art, but its so many of them, and i dont know... any advice?

+marina zg ... and by the way yiquan has it roots in xing yi quan, also check out dai xin yi. maybe also in real life. greetings f

There is a lot of fake yiquan around these days, it´s to bad.
This is pathetic. By modern he means that his father changed the Yi Chuan he was taught by Wang Xiang Zhai after he died. This is what he created. The Yao brothers have been beat several times. You are not going to learn true Yi Chuan watching a video, reading a book or training under these guys. Seek the truth
