Todd is the Ba'al of SGA. The dangerously savvy, adaptable one, who actually bothered to learn and understand his enemies and cooperate with them as allies-at-need. And just *so damned likeable*
Actually Ba'al was one of the few system lords which would've been able to adapt to Earth standards (and he actually did, at least few of his clones). It's pretty darn shame they hunted him down instead using his keen intellect and influence to rule over many worlds and gradually introduce them to Earth standards instead of throwing them to Lucian Alliance. In the end "Terrans" just got themselves few off world facilities (some of which were lost during replicator incursion, other during ori crusade) and Goa'uld territories were divided between Jaffa and Lucian Alliance. Yep, makes perfect sense to be a victor and gain nearly nothing out of it.
I think that todd have to be part of the team. He is a wraith but also different. I dont like that sheppard was too hard with him in some situations. The screenwriters dont made well

I have to say Christopher Heyerdahl is an awesome actor able to pull off the role of a kind man you wish you call your best friend or twisted monsters that leave you in a state of absolute terror. His role as Todd did a good job of walking the line between being likeable and terrifying. It was an excellent job and very fun to watch.

@Ijon Tichy, He played Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping)‘s ex husband and father of their daughter. It’s been awhile since I watched the show but I think he was supposed to be like Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde type character, sometimes decent, sometimes psychotic.

If i recall correctly, he also played some other minor characters, but i've seen it many years ago and i don't remember details. btw, magnus' husband played by this dude was Jack the Ripper, he got infected/possessed by something and that coused his homicidal tendencies. There was another dude who fitted Jekyl/Hyde description.
Carter's season in command was very strong for her character and the show, probably the best season overall for Atlantis, , Todd as an antagonist helped greatly as well
I think the order of events goes Ida, Milky Way, Ori Galaxy, and then Pegasus. Which would mean she actually going for her fourth time against replicators. But I'm only about 60-70% sure that this scene takes place after Ark of truth. Also this is her first time trading blows with Asuran Replicators who seem to be very different from the other replicators we've seen.
So that's why i laughed so hard when he presented the Atlantis Team with Fruits to eat while on his Ship, commenting nonchalantly "I hope they are as delicious as the Farmers who grew them."
Sorry I did not know about a message here until the newest from Tímea. RUclips..... I do know there is animated series and I disliked it strongly for some reason. I do recommend watching the Stargate Origins, even though they are short films (about 10 min each) it's still 10 episodes to watch and it's from the time when they discovered the Stargate and didn't know what it was yet.

I realized that Carter is the only character to face all the enemies in SG1, SGA and partly even SGU (she only didn't face the blue aliens from SGU). In SG1 - Goa'ulds, Ori, Replicators, Lucian Alliance In SGA - Wraith, Replicators In SGU - Lucian Alliance
All the soldiers jumping at him just raising his hand, despite being heavily outnumbered and unable to actually harm anyone in time, but Carter is used to whole other horrors already and barely gives a damn. ^^
That was pretty funny! Although I certainly wouldn't have been amused if I were in their position either. He was a great character, truly had depth and dimension; while in general the wraith were a pathetic and boring villain.

Just yesterday i watched this episode. Now i'm probably on 20+ reviews of atlantis, i don't even try to calculate how much times i reviewed SG-1. SGU was also good but it had rough start, i remember getting through first episode was very painfull. I'm only wondering why nobody from female feminazis don't know about this show and how much good female characters also in leading roles it has. I can honestly say that Samantha Carter was my first celebrity crush and i love this character ( also Amanda Tapping looks so gorgeous )

Matthew Marden Teal'c has a fantastic sense of humor if you study more of Daniel Jacksons Zen Koans.. the dripping nose was a brilliant joke following along the likes of "if you immediately know the candlelight is fire" bit.
Basically if we don't constantly shove women in position of power for the sake of it and show men as weaklings who need women protection and do it like how it is in reality, no one would care. But no, look at shows like supergirl and star trek discovery and others where the feminism is in your face and overdone to show strong manly women. Interestingly, Jo played Todd and Haling in Stargate Atlantis, and later went on to star with Amanda Tapping in Santuary.
