    Great video, keep up the good work! One thing to note from your side - it's not easy to find this excellent guide on YT. I only learned about it from "The Rapierist' group on Facebook, as this doesn't show up when looking for Destreza on YT.

      What search words have you used?
      I try to tag the videos with as many relevant terms as possible, but I'd love to hear what people search for.

      Hey, I certainly didn't search with 'Rada', but your videos don't pop-up when searching with 'destreza', which obviously isn't right.

      @@TheGeorgianOne I have tried to update the search tags hopefully people will have easier time finding it. My videos do no t have that many views though so they will not show up too high when searching for Destreza.

      Which is a shame, cause they do deserve more views!

    There are at least 2 Italian authors which have the same 'attacking step.' Marco Docciolini (Florence) and Gio. Pietro Gorio (Milan). Gorio acknowledges influence from Spanish masters.

      Very interesting, especially as they are north italians. It is more expected the south italians has Spanish influence than the North Italians

      @@danielhambraeus735 Gorio was influenced by a lot of masters from many traditions. He even quotes Fabris, Capoferro and even the Bolognese masters. Docciolini likely belonged to a distinct Florentine tradition as another Florentine master (Altoni) has a lot of similarities in his manual. Their guards are very different to destreza, but the footwork has a great many similarities.

    Very interresting. What is on a slippery underground if I landed with the heel first??

      @@UmeHFS By the footwork you always touch with the frontfoot heel the ground first. What is if I fight outside and not in a gym?

    • @UmeHFS
      @UmeHFS  Год назад +2

      @@olafjagel5134 Doesn't matter really. Makes no real difference. If it is icy or muddy, you take smaller steps. Even if barefoot, the steps are not heavy enough to hurt the heel.
