I just watched the 1st episode... Still the best Marvel TV shows.... and we're back to Hydra... two thumbs up...
At this point it's safe to assume that Hydra are the main antagonists of the entire series of agents of shield.

That's just me as I feel as I'm writing this comment. I enjoyed them all, so don't think that I didn't like Cloak & Dagger or Runaways because they're low on my own list. I pretty much just ranked them on rewatchability.
I love Coulson’s face a split second after he punches the pot like: “oh, neat.” 😂
I love how Dasiy’s hair all stays intact through the fighting, I would have lost some bobby pins.
I want to take this opportunity to send this message to everyone:
When I was watching Agents of SHIELD, I had no idea that it wasn’t as popular as I thought it was. It made me feel down that the very first MCU show has been declining in viewers with every season. And I hope with all my heart that with this being the last season, this will be an opportunity for people to stop sleeping on this fantastic show and give it a watch, and that when it ends, there will be more people on RUclips making videos on why this show works so well. It’s unbelievable that this is a Marvel show that started back in 2013 and is ending this year and has had 7 seasons. Any other Marvel show would be lucky to get 3 seasons. And I really hope that anyone reading this comment would take my advice to watch this show while there’s still a few months before the finale and give it the love and attention it absolutely deserves.
The soap opera in the top management suites at ABC, Marvel Studios, and Marvel Entertainment were to blame for much of the problems on the popularity of so many low budget Marvel shows. Even though there were issues, the problems at DC and Warner Brothers was so much more problematic and disastrous to the entertainment content brought to the public.
I really did want to make this comment as genuine and meaningful as I could.
I forgot this is the only show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have more than 3 seasons.

I loved the premiere. I expected Freddy to have ties to Hydra but not that he would be a Malick. Nice twist. I know that Iain was busy with other projects, but I do hope, that Fitz returns very early, and not in the middle or at the end of the season and, that the whole team is reunited and working together for more than one or two episodes, like the last previous two seasons.
I got chills when Phil Coulson returned. It is almost like he can never die
I really like this show it is so under rated at this point I hope the conclusion is good and pays everything off.
It's underrated for a good reason, hopefully it stays that way, which it will

You know when Coulson punched that pan? That’s basically punching a chronicom except you’re not a robot yourself. And the flying pan feels no pain, and is super strong.
This is so conflicting...
On one hand, I see Daisy’s point. If they rid of Papa Malick then none of his sons would be born, probably no Hydra, & no Hive either cuz many of know the pain Hove caused especially to Daisy.😖
However, Coulson has a point too. If Freddy dies they’re be two horrific scenarios.
1.) He dies than the creation of SHIELD dies with him cuz one day his son Gideon would become not only the new head of Hydra but part of the SHIELD’s council (hence why the Chronicoms were after him in the first place.
2.) If Freddy dies, there’s also a possibility that someone worser than him would take over the reigns of Hydra behind Shield!😱

It’s more than that. Because of Hydra Daisy’s mother was tortured, she was kidnapped, and her father became unstable and a criminal. Without Hydra Daisy has a (relatively) normal childhood with a loving family.

@@NorthernLaw_ It's complex for Daisy. Her entire life was ruined by HYDRA, and without it she never has to get bounced between foster homes, understands and learns about her powers from childhood, grows up with a family that loves her (and, y'know, never goes insane), is always sure of her identity, etc. She would never join her SHIELD family which, while bittersweet, would mean that she never has to go through any major trauma. As selfish as the sentiment is, Daisy will probably want to let HYDRA die, maybe secretly because I'd imagine she knows it's selfish. In fact, if HYDRA and SHIELD are both stamped out, the entire team basically gets a version of the Framework that isn't ruled by HYDRA. Coulson never dies because there's no SHIELD for him to join and he probably becomes a history teacher without the fascist propaganda, perhaps inspiring kids to become world leaders, superheroes or revolutionary scientists. May is never forced to kill Katya and lives happily with Andrew (y'know, as long as he doesn't come into contact with Terrigen ever) and has children of her own. Fitzsimmons might not meet, sure, but they'll be changing the world from their respective countries, Fitz taking care of his mother (let's hope his father still walks out on them) and Simmons her father (something I just noticed: Simmons mentions her father several times, never her mother). Mack will still be a mechanic, maybe living with his brother. They'll all lose something, but if HYDRA and SHIELD die, they'll all have fairly ordinary lives that are free of most of their major traumas. Except Yo-Yo and Deke, the former still having a sucky life and the latter possibly not existing.

It's pretty ridiculous that "we have to save Hydra" was shown in the trailers when it's supposed to be the big surprising reveal at the end of the episode.
So I’m assuming that their “doctor friend” that’s on the way is Simmons. How are people going to react to a female doctor, I don’t think that’s a normal thing for the time.
I get Daisy's and Coulson's points. But they have to do what's right for the time stream. No Hydra then there would be no Shield and no formation of anything that would happen during Daisy's time. Also no Cap probably most of the Avengers problems wouldn't be there to be dealed with

But that aside by disturbing the time stream, Daisy could potentially live a normal life...her mother will not be tortured, her father will still be sane and she could live like a normal person

Once they succeed, they'll return to their present and everything's the way it should be. But in reality, their present is 100% safe, no butterfly effects. This final mission is to safe the future, but it will always be safe from changes from the past. In reality, this final mission is to ensure that the 1931 reality unfolds the same way as their present.
It actually makes sense, seeing how intertwined the two organizations are.

I believe the super soldier serum is based off Alien Kree blood if they had more seasons they could explore that storyline more
it wouldnt surprise me if that was the case, kree blood used in one way gives various powers (that was from the very first tests that didnt fail), refined in a specific way could get a specific result, meaning a different process could make a quake serum, etc
we see something similar to this in S3 with the primitives, all their effects were identical to eachother, that specific process will always produce primitives
also, if you look at the wiki page for inhumans: marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Inhumans
theres about 6 specific powers that most inhumans have, including precognition (raina, robin, charles, and a dozen characters from the inhumans show), about 5 characters with "fire" powers, a few characters with "vibration" powers (including daisy, possibly flint, blackbolt, other inhuman character had echolocation)

@@TheMarkmcr Well in the future babies weren't born naturally anymore. Deke said he was one of the last natural births and Flint is obviously a few years younger than Deke. My theory is that he's probably their grandson rather than their son. But who knows, they might not even be related at all.

I have a crazy fan theory about the Malick family tree: since Wilfred IS responsible for the creation/transformation of Johann Shmidt as The Red Skull....I think the Malicks are the MCU version of the Communist Red Skull Albert Malik.

I’ve watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D 2 times all through season 1-5. I can’t watch 6 & 7 because I can’t get them in the uk. It is my fav thing to watch

I hate Hydra just as much as anyone who has laid eyes upon Agents of SHIELD and Marvel, HOWEVER, Coulson, Mac and Deke are right that killing Freddie/Paxton Hall-Yoshida is super bad.
If he goes down, so does the future of not only Hydra, but SHIELD with it. Not Maliks means no future for anyone.
Also the serum being delivered could well be the beginning of super-soldier serum that everyone is dying to get their hands on in the 40s. Everything is making its full circle here.

Well it makes sense Daisy would make that call, first off, it’s Hydra.. so yeah. Second off, Hydra is the one who cut her mother to pieces, which then lead to the whole province dying in China so she can heal, which then lead to 16-18 years of foster homes for Skye, and also a crazed deranged father.

@@metallicnole4514 Except that in AoS, they showed that Hydra was much older than that through the Malick family. How did the Nazi "deep science" division become part of the organization. Its obviously one of the retcons the show has pulled which was not very well explained.
@@nikunjdixit1175 Think of red skull's hydra and malick's hydra as different "heads". Whitehall from season 2, who was part of red skull's hydra followed science. Whereas malick followed some religion. Also, the movies don't really acknowledge the tv shows so I expect the show to stick to it's own lore.

But in the show's lore, the religion version has been around for centuries. So that makes me curious as to how the Nazi version even come into existence.
