Run that Beedrill with a Choice Scarf and it outspeeds anything on the field! I run Redux Beedrill with a Choice Scarf and it SLAYS. Helps that Beedrill is one of my favorite Bug Types. So good!
Redux Arceine is great, extreme speed was fun to spam with it's new ability and it even has it's own new entry hazard if you wanted a more bulky mon. I'm not sure if I've said this before though, but don't let this new Arcanine distract you from the fact that Hiusian Arcanine also got a major buff, and with a new rock type extreme speed and preditor, it can become a devsating physical attacker. In addition, it has a huge buff in it's speed stat, going from a disapointing 95 to a great 120 and an extra 20 points in attack make it a excellent physical sweeper.
I've been using those two in my latest playthrough since i restarted with 2.0. And they are honestly amazing. I personnally use this arcanine a bit more as a support mon due to the fact that it has access to a grass type stealth rock which is a really nice adition imo. Also i didn't see you talk about it in your new pokemon videos, but with 2.0 we now have the option to have mega outside of battles too meaning we don't need to use the stone on them and thus being able to equipe items on them and have multiples mega at once. Idk if you plan to talk about that but it could be an interesting thing to cover.
Based of the doc with all approved forms, all types should be covered. Currently, the only types the approved forms doesn't have are Normal/Flying, Normal/Fighting, Fighting/Flying and Ground/Water... And all of theses type combination have mons from the mainline games with said type. Plus, they are still adding ideas from the Discord.
I have Beedrill and Alakazam on my team right now, and yeah they are both absolutely cracked. Mega Beedrill outspeeds almost everything and hits REALLY hard. Alakazam's Beat Up ability is insane too and OHKO's so many mons.
Beedrill is really good, I used it in a playthrough and it was one of my best Pokémon. I ran Toxic Needles which has a chance to poison on each hit, which when combined with Freezing Point, essentially guaranteed that the opponent would either be frostbitten or poisoned.
Base Beedrill really deserves a BST buff to the mid-to-late 400s at the very least. I'm tired of these weak-ass Pokémon being left behind because of how bad they are with or without their Megas. Them being decent while also having Megas is possible, y'know.
I tried whiteout focus sash swords dance beedrill on a hail team, it’s damage after 1 boost is insane and even resists have a tough time eating hits. With icicle spear toxic needle and drill run it can muscle through a lot of teams. I also used a walrein with snow warning, yawn and flip turn to help support the bee. Super solid, I’d recommend you guys try it out
I started a randomized run of Redux, and I got a Bonzai. I was about to release it, but remembered it's new evolution, so I'm obviously keeping it to check it out
ill be real, while arcanine R looks fun, I was way more excited for hisuian arcanine since it's my favorite fire type certainly doesnt disappoint either, and synergizes super well with my jolteon
I wonder when you'll talk about the three new evolutions to gen 2 pokemon: Phantowl, Duelumber and Escarginite, which are evolutions to Noctowl, Sudowoodo and Magcargo respectively, Escarginite is especially important if you plan on talking about gen 2 redux forms
How they would work in practice: Redux mega bee, despite all of its good traits, is very easily worse than regular mega bee (and we don’t talk about base since mega is better in every way): that’s what a lack of u-turn, even less favorable defensive typing into prio, and effectively being weaker at it’s best (25% dmg boost for statused targets vs guarenteed crits against paralyzed, poisoned or speed dropped foes) does to it. Is it bad: absolutely not Yes it gets out done by its regular counter part… but it’s still an er mega beedrill: it’s still absurdly strong, nearly as strong as it’s regular counterpart, and even has some advantages over it, mainly through it reveling in ruining flyers that regular mega bee would struggle with, such as lando. Arcanine sucks, plain and simple. It’s attack combo, while being cool, is actually VERY easy to wall, mainly through dragons and opposing fires, which especially hurts since it’s weaker stab type is where it gets it’s prio from, so it can not only lose out on offensive resists, but it also can’t even revenge kill as easily as, say, dnite or even regular arcanine
Lack of stab adaptability u-turn tho, meaning it’s much less threatening as an offensive weapon and only a pivoting tool. Part of regular mega bee’s strength was indeed its incredibly strong u-turns letting it keep offensive momentum
Dragonite would probably be happy to lose the 4x ice weakness, sad to be grounded. Although in ER he could just get levitate as an additional ability to compensate For Arcanine its less complex, but is stab espeed worth the fighting weakness
Mega redux beedrill is one of the most busted mons ever especially in a ability randomiser I was doing its mega got chilling neigh adaptability huge power and snow warning(lucky asf cus any other would hinder it) I had always mega on so I strapped him with a life orb and he swept most teams
Hey Fidough do you know where I can find documents for emerald redux? I would love to be able to look at notes but I can’t find anything. You seem like the best source for info!
Now, here is the real question. What could they have possibly done to seaking to make it not awful? A Mon that has remained almost unchanged since gen1.
@@MegaFidoughalready had Lightning Rod in mainline games. It also gets a total of 70 in his base stats with 20 in Attack, 20 in Special Defense and 30 in Speed for a grand total of 520 BST
Counter: Seeing how sun is equal to rain (Both boosting water and fire moves respectively by 50% or decreasing it by 50%) Meanwhile sandstorm and hail being equal in which both damages Pokémon on the Field "because of rough weather" It makes sense why hail only increases ice type's physical defense (as opposed to sandstorm buffing rock type Pokemon's special defense)

That was changed in 2.0. Now they're bought from three specific places. The Slateport Market has the Water starters, the Flower Shop south of Rustboro has the Grass Starters, and what was once Lavaridge's herb shop has the Fire Starters.
Could you make a video about where to get the megastones for pokemon. Backtracking throughout Hoenn was a pain and unreliable, had to watch your poison mega video for the Nido megas. Arcanine R. is so useful for Grass Extreme Speed alone, but Mega Arcanine R. is just not worth the mega slot. You're better off using a life orb or some other atk boosting item than losing the opportunity to use pokemon like Mega Breloom.
I wanted to ask. I got a manaphy in the route with ralts while fishing . That thing swept the majority of battles with drizzle +swiftswim+2hit scald+ 50bp surf. Was it supposed to be there or is it a bug
