I was just reading about the XY the other day, congrats to the owner and of course job well from the team at MPW. Aside from the minor bonnet issue 😂, have to be happy with the weekend overall.
Great work guys, congratulations on all three cars, it’s hard to be across everything but when it’s all aligns, it’s a sight to behold. Even us slower guys have just silly stuff happen some times.
Didn't know where too look in this eppy, too many tuff cars! HQ looks a real weapon but im very much in favour of the XY love it. They all have the MPW stance that works.. you know that stance anywhere...mate you didn't eat that burnt crust did ya !!
Absolutely incredible I can’t imagine going a 6s I’d be happy if I could build a car capable of 12 or 13s which you all think is slow Real incredible achievement to run so fast as these cars are going
Gawd damn son!!!... Remember when 3000hp was the reserve of meth fuelled doorslammers? It's wild how far things have come, that thing has number plates ffs 😮
MPW damaged my 406ci after a fresh rebuild, did not set spring pressure right and stripped lobes off cam. Removed mototor and went BBC in my 67 camaro. Alluminium fab work was great, motor knowledge was poor as a customer
here we are in 2024 with suspension that's limited to manual compression droop springs rebound valving etc. how is this all not hydraulicly controlled by software? reading and feeding and adjusting real time as it goes down with solenoid's lock outs and over extension to control cars completely coming off the ground . i don't know it must be really hard just thought we could achieve that by now
Just fathom that in less than a point of a second from when you drop the trans brake it’s calculated that run over a billion times that’s not the issue
You guys are getting better at what you do year after year 🎉 Great stuff ! Don’t turn your informative great videos into we are rock stars ! Just gets the average guy thinking do I “ save up “ to get work done @ MPW or not . Chose your words wisely Adam lots of blue collar guys are watching this and this could end up be lost dollars. Keep up your great videos MPW Just saying $ keep it real ? Moving forward Smash it guys ! Paul in Ballarat Vic
These blokes have got another second or more to find they may have the power but getting the things out of the box clean looks like their biggest prob they should just set em to smoke the tyres and work back from there Wheelstanding cars are not fast unless it's under 4 inches off the ground I've seen zapp wheelstand for about half track and still b fast Only just off the ground though Good diff and rear suspension setup
just shows how shit we are in Australia when it comes to fast Street cars or (super sedan) you see Cleetus McFarlane run 6.3 at 225mph in his big block chevy heavy weight elco Mullet, we have a Capri under 3000lbs struggling to run into High 6's, but I guess fast Street cars in Oz aren't that fast, I guess I have higher expectations from us Aussies, the monaro is impressive
Garrets cars are not comparable to what we can run here and be street legal.. the Mullet elco has so much tube work. You technically can’t have a roll cage passed for the road here. It’s apples to oranges.
Can’t get enough of these MPW guys. The carnage episode of them doing the rear end there blew my mind. Great content!
That bloke has figured out quantum physics, then jammed it beneath a bonnet 😮
Great work MPW. Your quality of workmanship is outstanding and I’m looking forward to seeing your cars run great times.
Jeeeeeeeeeeesus... that Capri is DEADLY!!! Even just idling you can hear how deadly it is. Awesome gents!!
1:41 haha best comment

Great looking car and congrats on the 6, hard luck on the windscreen Adam, but atleast you hit it again the next day. Great video as always !
Frank can fix it 👌🏼 Frank is the best from dandy 🇮🇹

awesome cars, the capris just sounds perfect, all haulin ass at the end, great vid!
Three very very cool cars🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely incredible

Mate you can run low 13's for around $10k if you know the right cars to buy.
That was awesome 👌

1.12s 60 foot when the bonnet came up is wild, you'd have to think that would've been a six.
I see the car is living up to its name (stripshow) as it likes removing bonnets and windscreens etc etc 🤣🤣
love the way the Capri warms the tyres. Who's driving that thing?
Hey broads the torana going to be doing these times any time soon 😂
Damn whats with the monaro coupes lately things are running crazy hp.

The capri sounds like its barely hitting 3k rpm, what a unit.
Why does the capri skew sideways in the burnout? Is that due to its short wheelbase?
Is that ayvon in the background??

drag , not f1
Can't act fast enough I'm sure. It's not a citreon ds from the 50s going down the road....

America has a different timing system
Also the laws here and in the states are different. Imagine driving leeroy down the street in aus
your in love with cleetus we get it
