Create small batches of extrudate or pellets with lab scale equipment

The Variable Density Extruder and Multi Bowl Spheronizer form a lab scale extrusion and spheronization system capable of producing from 50 g to 1.5 kg of extrudate/pellets (formulation dependent)
The Variable Density Extruder allows you to increase or decrease the density of your extrudate. The extrudate quality improves dramatically as the density increases, exhibiting smoother surfaces with less breaks and voids. Depending on your formulation, the Variable Density Extruder is capable of producing from 50 g to 1.5 kg of extrudate per batch.
After the material has been extruded, it can be placed into the Multi Bowl Spheronizer for spheronization. The MBS has 4 different bowl sizes available which allow it to spheronize as little at 5 grams of material with it's smallest bowl, up to 1.5 kilograms using its largest bowl.
