I’ve got the exact same truck on order and I’m kind of surprised that Traxxas has used the same paint scheme for this long. I also ordered orange skids and front and rear bumpers in orange. I ordered the blue RPM a-arms too.
I run RPM parts on all of my Traxxas rigs. I do have some aluminum parts on them as well. I won't run aluminum arms, but I run aluminum skid plates, and shock towers. My arms and bumpers are RPM. I have a few cans of compressed air for doing small cleaning jobs like what you are doing when you are replacing the parts. That way I don't have to fire up the compressor. It saves me a lot of time. That is going to be a nice rig, and I will be getting me one at the end of the month for bashing.
Proline 3.8 trenches in tall grass = I blew the plastic servo gears, motor gets hot so I added a fan. Other then that. I bash the crap out of it and have had no issues.
Great stuff,,,,,,,good info,,,,I have the same units you have,,,,,,where did you get that Drexel drill and the bits you have,,,can’t seem to find them....thanks jim
So is the front and back the same. They look like it. I have the rear but not the front cause they r sold out. Wondering if I can just buy another rear for the front
Hey Jason, I broke my front lower bulkhead where the screws from front chassis skid plate go in. Upgrading to metal chassis skid plate could probably make it more likely to break again in case of crash as metal have no give. What do you think?
Yup, generally aluminum upgrades are for bling and cause more damage. Only aluminum upgrade worth it for erevo 2.0 is rear chassis brace. Possibly axle carriers.

Doc's Hobby Shop 👌 Just bought my E revo from them on the weekend. My first RC. Thanks for the vid👍
Oh I've been drooling over hot racing axle carriers, and t-bone wheelie bar, and skid plates
It may not make it stronger really but it definitely looks cleaner and will last longer to the bashing.

New subscriber. Really like how you don’t time lapse through the installs. 👍
Nice informative video. Subbed!
Could you tell me motor fans brand and wheel/tire combo? Where we can get them? Also, love the vids

I don’t think they make the Dremel drill anymore. The bits are from an Align kit. Came with the bits and driver.
nice video mate..i noticed the net covering with zip...looks cool and more protected from dirt,,, did you made it or bought somewhere?

Nice. which tires you use ? They are a bit bigger ? do you feel that in driving ?
Cool video Jason! How are skid plates doing? Are they holding the beats well? I put the protectors (front and back) of T-bone but I don't like it ...
hey man what kind of cooling fan set up is that. is that from amazon
Why do you not put a link to the parts in the description?
I'm in +- $2,000 in my eREVO 2.0 (2018) model that's like less than a month old.
Is it going to be a shelf queen? Or will you actually bash it? What all have you added to it for it to be that much in parts?
like the upgrades bro,,,,do those covers keep more heat in??
Yes. I have not noticed any issues with the Revo. But the Rustler went into thermal after 10 minutes on 3s. :(
I just got the 2.0 any info whould b nice
How are the tires doing. Any problems with the wheel hex wearing out
Best batteries for speed and performance on this car? Sz and brand plz

no the reason is because you need longer screws, look at them the hr skid plate is thicker where the screws are
until the first fall))))🤣😂

These "upgrades" are not suited for bashing around in skateparks / woods.
