- SWM 7805C Cheap Chinese MP5 single din car head unit unleash full feature - How to connect external video source such as DVD player, VHS player, Terrestrial TV box (GMA Affordabox, TV Plus, ISDB-T, DVB-T, DTMB, etc.) or to be used as an LCD monitor for to a Smart Android TV Box. For home installation and use, I'll show the correct installation of the Rear Reverse Camera and use it as home CCTV camera with a dedicated push button switch. Plus, the 7805C has a video output port to display the video player on an external LCD/ LED TV monitor of your choice. Features and functions not mentioned in the user manual were discussed in this blog.

Sorry, I have no idea if there's any firmware available for this unit, or if there's a provision to install any programs, software or apps in this thing via USB or TF card.

Single DIN po yan 7805C, but a bit thicker than most old school car stereos. Kung ang irereplace nyo eh 1 DIN head unit from 80's-90's baka need nyo mag cut ng additional clearance sa original dash mount.
mine cant launch videos just turning off its the same unit
Sounds like your unit may be under powered. Try using another 12 volt car battery with higher ampere capacity. Or try using a 13.8 volts 6 ampere regulated power supply. Also check the format of your videos. This one plays MP4 up to 720p. 1080p lags and higher than full HD might not play at all.

@@user-xy5zy8my9b can your unit play mp3 music? Is it turning off only once the head unit is processing something like using the radio, playing something or when you turn the volume up? If that's the case then I think the power supply is the culprit, either it is underpowered or some components are overheating or shorting inside, like a defective mosfet or a shorted diode. It may also due to a bad or leaky capacitor. Try changing power, use a new battery with a higher capacity or use a working 13.8 volt 6 ampere regulated power supply.

@@user-xy5zy8my9b if your car battery is good and can play mp3 but can't play videos, I suspect voltage drops drastically or got underpowered whenever your unit runs a heavy process. You can measure the battery voltage drop with a volt-ohmmeter tester while trying to play videos. That's the only way to rule out battery or circuit board problem. Otherwise it's a software or firmware issue that needs to be updated (if you can find a tech service that do ROM flashing or reprogramming head units like that). Also try running bluetooth with your phone connected (either placing a call or playing mp3 on your phone connected to the head unit's bluetooth. If it does run on bluetooth then either a blown diode or faulty capacitor on the circuit board, or the unit's firmware is causing the issue. Or probably the video encoder got corrupted it does not recognize the video codec. Try other video format as it plays .mov and .wmv as well. If still it does not play movies other than mp4 then your unit might be defective or might have some sort of a damage inside.

Pwede TV Plus, o kahit anong TV box or Android box, any video source such as DVD player, VHS player, etc. Although wala nga lang siyang sound via 7805C car radio kse sa reverse camera input mode mo sya papaganahin. You need a separate amplified speaker connected to your TV Plus box para mapalabas ang TV audio.

@@ArczAngel Wala naman Bluetooth ang TV Plus box. You need to pair SWM 7805C with Bluetooth enabled gadgets, but TV Plus box don't have that function. Pwede siguro kabitan mo ng TV Plus Go ang celfone mo, tapos i-pair mo yun celfone dyan sa SWM 7805C Bluetooth car radio.

@@ArczAngel kung sound ang palalabasin mo sa SWM 7895C pede mo ikabit sa AUX jack sa front panel sa baba ng volume knob tapos pindutin mo yun AUX icon sa LCD touchscreen para pumunta sa Auxiliary Mode. Pero kung palalabasin mo ang video output kasabay ng audio sa SWM 7805C, eh that's not possible kse kelangan i-activate mo ang camera mode which disables all of the radio functions and settings including the Audio Auxiliary mode. Yun video input lang ang lalabas sa screen pag ikinabit mo angTV Plus video out sa top right RCA jack (camera input), walang tunog na maririnig since wala naman mic input yun camera mode. Either alin lang sa dalawa ang choice, either audio or video lang ang mapapagana mo as explained in my demo, hindi sila pwede sabay.
