The inaccuracies are pretty bad, but the animations are generally great. Animation team did a good job.
90% of the video’s nitpicking is just due to the fact that they can’t make the real guns so they just change a little bit of it. It’s really not that big of an issue even if you’re a gun nut like me

On the ar9 stock: a company called dead foot makes short ar9 buffer tubes and the game seems to have based it on that. It is entirely possible to give this wierd stock to an ar9
they make bolt carrier groups that don’t require buffer tubes but in game it just has the standard bcg
@marksutton7240 in game it does not even have a proper ejection port. I think the carrier on the model should be ignored in this case.
In the video they don't even make this distinction.
Also the guy who collabed made a vid about this and got flooded with comments about this dead foot thing (i was one of them). The fact that they don't even mention it is embarrassing.
@@davitdavid7165we talked to a Gunsmith who analyzed the weapon. The model in-game wouldn't even support it. The Dead foot buffer tubes are also too long compared to the one in-game.
@munanchoinc I guess it is more defensible in that case. I think it should have been mentioned that such conversions exist, but are made impossible by the rest of the model instead of giving viewers the misconception that such things are completely impossible

That 9MM AR-15 gets even more deranged when you realize thats going to be a second barrel with an aftermarket part.
Apparently it’s gonna be based off some prototype double barrel 9mm ar. Still kinda dumb and niche like the full auto deagle
@@ARandomSpecOptbf at least the full auto deagle is believable, a double barrel SMG however sounds like it straight up belongs in Advanced Warfare.
badass
@@ultr7712the double barrel AR does exist I think demolition ranch did a video on it, SMG though definitely not. Sort of an SMG is the gilboa but it’s a very compact AR15
@@gitupmechavvy2569 a double barrelled AR definitely exists that I know of, but the way the barrels are aligned on that AR is side by side which makes sense since ammo can be fed into both sides without much issue, in MW3 however from the images we have of the AMR9 double barrel kit it'll be top and bottom configuration, which makes very little sense when you think of how will the gun feed ammo into both barrels. I'd love to see how SHG comes up with its design once it releases.
What if they made them 1/1 replicas, but stamped some South Park-esque message that read "any resemblance to real world products are merely coincidence" and called it a day? I feel like that'd do the trick

How did you manage to miss the fact the piston leads directly into the magazine on the "AN-94" which means no matter the barrel choice, the gun wouldn't function anyways?
So the piston on the an94 is still in the same place as it would be on a standard ak the bottom tube that appears to be what houses the piston only really serves as a guide rod for the an94’s reciprocating barrel. However, given sledgehammer’s beautiful history of making “very accurate” depictions of firearms that probably is where the piston is located.

I can honestly excuse most of these weapon inaccuracies (minus the MW9mm, An94 Frankenstein, bolt action AK) because they literally have to change the gun because of that copyright law. But it's always fun to watch what they changed to make it just different enough to not be the exact gun. I'm sure if Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Sledgehammer, and Activision weren't all like based out of California we wouldn't be having this issue.
I mean as a Californian, I own a Kriss Vector. We have guns too. EVERY gun has to be changed because they don't wanna pay those licensing fees to have the guns. Has nothing to do with being based in CA, it has everything to do with big arms manufacturers (Colt, Remington, Izhmash/Kalashnikov Concern, H&K, Glock, etc) being able to straight take Activision to court if they didn't change them.
I'm genuinely curious as to what Californian law people keep tossing around.
CoD always had altered guns and rarely any 1:1 depictions. It's just recently they've tried to contain everything (not just guns) in a fictionalized universe.
@@mistertililing5933 there aren’t any
The ONLY one that comes close is that “real depictions” can’t be in children’s media.
COD is an M-rated game, it would be exempt from that anyway.
I think people just have a massive hate boner for CA and their catharsis is just blaming everything on “the liberal hellhole.”
@@anothnypitt443 Thanks. Read about that and found it silly to be the cause as well as the copyright ones.

Appreciate all the work u put into your videos
Additional notes:
1. Renetti has straight cocking serrations instead of the real life's angled serrations.
2. Not sure and correct me if I'm wrong, but there seems to be compensator cuts above the COR-45's slide, rendering suppressors useless. Regarding the different name and not using the X- system, the X16 in MW2019, and X12 & X13 in MW2022 are manufactured by XRK, while the COR-45 is manufactured by Corvus. In real life, there are different companies manufacturing their own Glock part kits. An example would be the PF940 in Insurgency: Sandstorm, a Glock 17 kit.
3. Regarding the 3D printed conversion for the Rival-9, cited from IMFDB: "Interestingly, this particular conversion has more real-world basis than any other in the game: there is an actual 3D-printable Scorpion Evo 3 file package available, the AWCY? Scz0rpion EVO, which can include M-LOK handguards of varying lengths; at least one version was built into a select-fire SMG (legally, by a registered SOT) using a factory S/1/3/A trigger pack, though no known examples are restricted to burst fire exclusively (whatever "known" means in the context of home-manufacturable firearms)."
4. For the FR 5.56, taken from IMFDB: "Unlike in MW2019, the rifle is incorrectly loaded with brass-cased rounds for most of its ammo types, including the default ammunition. It should be loaded with steel-cased rounds, as brass rounds were notorious for causing malfunctions. The only steel-cased rounds in-game that it can use are the Armor Piercing rounds."
5. In some Multiplayer insertion sequences, bare-bones MTZ-556 rifles are handed to the players and magically turns to whatever weapon they are using.
6. This is obvious, but there are no 40mm Grenade speedloaders in real life.
Anything else that's missing here?
The mags for the Origin 12 are way too big for a tactical reload.
The Famas' supposed unreliability with brass cased ammo is fake. BOTR did a video on it

Honestly I wouldn’t count the copyright name as an inaccurate because that’s a legal thing
Why can’t they use photorealism techniques to scan a real gun model (say Glock 21C) and directly copy it into the game so that the only thing that would technically be incorrect would be the names?
They may have to pay incensing fees or get sued.
Because it can violate copyright or patent laws I believe. Just changing the name is not enough anymore, if you do not have a contract or agreement with a gun company to present their products wholly, then you need to also alter the design to avoid lawsuits and copyright infringement.
Also this game wasn't meant to be a full game, it's a big reason why these guns suck

I believe the notBeretta is based off the M9A3, which does have a frame cut with three (not 4) slots of 1913 and a similar looking trigger guard.
I'd like to see a video about the historical inaccuracies in the original Modern Warfare trilogy. Although there is an alternative history, the armies shown in these games can be assessed from the perspective of the time when these games were released - the late 2000s and early 2010s.
Incredible work, thank you! Waiting for Modern Warfare II now, especially TR-76
Id love to see you go through the attachments and their inaccuracies. There are so many optics that flatout dont exist or are absolute fever dreams of what theyre supposed to be IRL. But that video would probably end up being like an hour long lol
You're right about that but I'm happy that they've started to include optics on higher mounts which are very popular today for use with NODs. Their repetoir of optics is impressive, that model available optics today. The fictional stuff is a given with any COD game.
For the burst fire famas, couldn't you make the argument that the operator doesn't flip the switch to full auto because of the fact it would be uncontrollable?
You could. Unfortunately, I like to use the 1100-1200 rpm for room clearing.
The famas has two fire selectors so changing your guns “fire mode” on that gun would take as long as reloading the gun so it’s for the best anyway
Ahh. The classic “oh someone wouldn’t do it in real life so it’s fine” argument.

They wont cos too much licensing. Activision tryna save money
34:20 There is an M203 variant that has ejected casing (because it is compatible with M406 grenade of the infamous thumper) called T40 in its prototype stage. And it was equipped at small numbers in Vietnam's special forces since 2015 under the old name M203. I'm still don't know how in the hell Activision knew the existence of that thing, because of the info of that variant is extremely rare
Activision: c'mon man i can't pay for the royalty for the gun name
Also Activision: hehehe 30 dollar skin
They’re so lazy
also Activision: hehehehe 70 dollar dl- *cough cough* unfinished game
It's not just that, they can literally be sued if they represent the actual guns and manufacturers if there is a shooting. It's bad enough they always blame guns and video games when there is a shooting and if Call of Duty had the actual manufacturers and 100% accurate guns they would be in deep shit in California. Then it would be like they are promoting guns, "promoting" how to use them, etc. Politicians already think a person can be trained by playing Call of Duty.
@@lordfist111 but it’s just the names
@@slidersides still, they’d be put through a lot of shit if they used the actual names. It is entirely accurate for a Beretta 92 to have a rail. IRL I own a Beretta 92FS and a Beretta 92x and the 92x has an accessory rail
I cant believe what they have done to my boy RSh-12. Boy sees almost no action in games even tho its such a cool design and when it does its in really minor game with stats treating it like a .357 or this which is spit in face of fans for this revolver
I'll personally add 30 more inaccuracies just because that SVA 545 exist.
19:01 idk if you mentioned it but it also has the loosey-goosey charging handle
Hope we see more of this series with other games EDIT also the reason the Steyr hs 50 is stated as MADE IN SCOTLAND is because John Soap Mactavish is from Scotland at least it’s the only reason I could think of
I can imagine the names being wrong is just cause they don’t wanna pay these companies the licensing fee
This is well worth the work. that's pretty cool
They messed up the RSh-12 real bad. Even Infinite Warfare's depiction of this gun was closer to reality.
Also. I'm not sure if it counts as an inaccuracy, but many of the reload animations involve throwing the magazine away. From what i've heard, soldiers are tought not to do that.
In terms of the magazines being thrown away… it depends. If you can save your mag, you should. But if it’s an active firefight, especially if you’re moving or just trying to get the gun up and send rounds down range.
In the context of multiplayer it makes sense for them to just toss it because fuck it, it’s not like you’re gonna get ammo refills or anything- same as any quick hit and run mission I guess that’s a super kinetic environment.
TLDR; ideally you’d retain the mags, but it kinda just depends on the situation/if you value just getting the weapon functioning asap

I think the inaccuracies with COD's guns these days ultimately come down to a) rushed design, b) legalities, c) greed. I can excuse some gun in the likes inaccuracies of COD 4 or even Black Ops 2, but in an age where we can easily find references online, it feels sad.
Cod has been making gun hybrids for decades. The naming is not because copyright, but so because no gun manufacturer wants their name on these when so many shootings are happening and they are being blamed

Are you certain the Renetti isn't supposed to be a PT92 stand-in? I know the M9 would make more sense, but it seems to have more in common with the PT visually
Edit: Also, the TYR would just be the Tyr, as in the Norse god of war and namesake of Tuesday. His name is pronounced like "tier".
The PT92 doesn't have a safety at the slide unlike the 92FS. All PT92s are based on earlier model B. 92s
@@munanchoinc I figured the Renetti was supposed to be a stylized M9A3 to be honest

Yes a new video.
Whats the source for the supposed 2013-14 AN-94 modernisation effort? I haven't been able to find any information about it, or any images.
I don't mind the multiplayer but the campaign in much smaller in scale compared to original mw3, for example, we had the naval battle of New York harbour after Washington DC was almost destroyed at the beginning of the game, boarded a sub, I think Germany got invaded, had that awesome presidential plane crash sequence where it split in half, london tube train crash, and the Eiffel tower collapses in Paris during the war, and you actually got revenge on Makarov, in this new version Makarov seems to lose at almost every attack attempt to start world war 3.
The standard Uzi in game also fires from a closed bolt when the realy Uzi is an open bolt gun.
I am now addicted to these videos
collab of the year
fun fact: the amr9 was supposed to have a ar15 styled barrel
you can see this on some playlist renders in the cod hq menu and some character renders in the campaign mission select menus
Anyone else notice the hammers position on the rsh12??? Its slamming on the cartridge on the top of the cylinder... not the round in the bottom where the barrel is
aren't the guns made a little bit different from there real life counterpart on purpose for copyright issues?
The tavor also has the magic charging handle that pulls itself back with pure and raw MAGIC (Just like with the Origin shotgun)
Noticed that when playing warzone recently. Bothers me every time I see it
I don't know if this is the case, but I believe the charging handle is quite literally just floating in the receiver. It doesn't reciprocate with the cycling of the bolt, and so in a system where the bolt locks to the rear (like the Tavor), if you tilt the rifle upwards the charging handle would just slide down to the bottom.
Again, been a while since I've seen anything on how the guts of the Tavor functions, but that's what I would think is going on. Same with the Origin.
The Frost 1, can you make a video analyzing inaccuracies about the weapons in the 2006 shooter Black?? great job
