A great little racing game that I have had for a few years. There is a lot more strategy there than meets the eye. It can also be played without much strategy at all, which makes this a great game for casual and experienced gamers to play together. Another good one is Detroit Cleveland Grand Prix Racing. It's a predecessor to Downforce, which uses the same system as it does.
My version of the game came with a card board board for the cars. Maybe you can get the spare part from GMT they are great about helping out gamers. If not I could photo copy it for you.
my family schedule was pretty tight, the only free moments i had were a quick visit to the Game empire, and a 2-hour evening of solo gaming at Game Haus Cafe. Next time maybe!

Nice game collection on your shelves: Puerto Rico, Istanbul, Carcossonne, Splendor - all favorites of mine (Puerto Rico is #1).
This looks like a nice, fast-playing, racing themed alternative to Formula D. I'm going to check it out. Thanks, Marco!

You were in LA? I would have taken you to a free lunch, if only to get an opportunity to chat.

You have been in a sports mode lately, so how about trying Friday night fights by two hour wargames? It surprised me, and I'm not a boxing fan.
