Some people think it's no big deal how TW handle it here, but I've seen plenty of mistakes in live performances. They usually end badly, mostly because the player lacks poise, grace, and confidence. Dany laughing at herself and signaling for a restart is the exact opposite. It just makes the audience love her and her sisters even more. Oddly enough, the other performer I've seen have that level of grace under pressure is Rob Zombie. And he did it with way more than a guitar malfunction. The result was the same-I admired the fact that he had the humility to stop the show, because it indicated that he cared about one thing more than anything else-making sure the fans got what they paid for. Professionals.
Pau did not look happy when Dany took the stage or when they messed up the beginning and pau had to restart the track! Got to wonder if the schedule of the road is catching up! Regardless thanks for the upload. Great Capture!
Great video. If you are using a iPhone do you have the Record In Stereo setting on or off? I heard that if you disable this setting you can zoom in without the sound changing.
IDK for certain, but this is my best guess. I've seen clips from the sound checks prior to the shows in South America just prior to the big three shows In Mexico (Guadalajara, Monterrey, and The Pepsi Center CDMX. They were rehearsing SICK and HYCAD and said at one point they were happy with the sound yet. What I think was happening was they wanted to get some clean footage of preforming the songs to be used for a music video to coincide with the official release of the singles. As those three shows in Mexico were the longer format (almost 2 hours) there was enough time to incorporate the songs into sets. Plus they wanted maximum crowd reaction or SICK, so they needed to play the pre-recorded countdown. The large screens on stage require a a larger stage than they have had in the most recent venues, so I'm sure that's a part of it as well. And hauling all that stuff around, setting it up, including the lighting costs more money, meaning they have to sell more tickets to cover the expense, which means they can only make it work at larger venues. The alternative is to raise the prices for the tickets, which is something they do not want to do, especially playing places they have never performed before. Long answer, but I'm pretty sure they were working on live footage for music videos. And the album is still in the mixing phase, which likely includes one or both of the new singles. So the single aren't ready for release yet and the label probably doesn't want them performing them live again until it is closer to the release date. 9Which I hope is soon. They only have two more concert dates on the Error Tour at this point. Releasing a new single (or both) would make some sense for the time between tours.
I won't write a whole novel with some fan fiction inventing a complicated story about a fantasy reason. I will give you the obvious reason that should be clear to anyone with some common sense and that is: the new songs have not been released as of yet and were only played to give something extra to those 3 shows with the full production. They prob wont play them again until they are officially released.
