I hope this guy is my teacher. Online class sucks. The teacher doesnt even explain the lessons. They just keep giving us piles of work without a proper explanation. Instead of teaching us step by step during the session, they upload examples with unclear steps of solution.
I like this guy clear and precise !!! great job makes my life easier we need more math teachers who speak clear English .. its torture in these colleges with the math professors
my math teacher was explaining why you could randomly pick 2 points from a line in a line graph to calculate the gradient, and she was speaking for 20 mins and i still didnt understand and then when my friend taught me he literally said the most simplified thing in the world..... he said from across the class, "It's because it will always give you the same answer". My teacher was so happy and she was like, "Yes, FiNALLY", And i was in my mind thinking, " The fuck woman...you could have just said that 30 fucking minutes ago when you were fucking replying to my friends on why they could randomly pick 2 points..." DO YOU KNOW ENGLISH?!?! SIMPLIFY IT!!
@@bienangelo9161 uhm... If they cant understand how to speak clear english.. Then just dont teach math... She made her undefinitive 30 times longer than it needed to be. When the answer was just 4 words. *"ITS ALWAYS THE SAME"*
my pre-calculus teacher doesn’t use a table and tells us to change signs but it’s so confusing! she doesn’t want us to do it any other way so thank you for giving a better explanation than her. i’m not doing too well in class but watching your videos is giving me hope that i will pass!

Great job brother. I was drolling over it for about 2 years and no teacher was able to describe the actual theory. I'm indebted to you for whole of my life
This is the first vid I could find with a rational inequality of this type where you needed to make the constant numerator into one with the variable in it. FINALLY
Oh my god thank you!!!!! I am Korean students who is studying pre-calc in USA, and this made me understand things way more better!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
You're an amazing teacher. You make things so simple and I am glad I found this video since I've been sick and out of school missing this lesson. Thank you so much!
Your methods are the best I have seen and they are neat and organized and easy to follow even when lost. Thank you so much I use your work as study guides to help me learn. Your awesome I recommend you to all my classmates and teachers!!! I appreciate it!
Hi, first of all i would like to thank you for this video, it IS really helpful for those who are struggling with how to use the table method to solve rational inequalities. I used your type of solving method for the table method to solve for my homework. My lecturer said there was inconsistency in my work.. the thing is... how? i had a really long talk with him and i was really upset afterwards. The thing is, he said to follow the majority and i was surprised because math is a universal language which can be solved in MANY different ways. And now my grade is at stake..again, thank you.
Unfortunately there are some instructors who take the view that there is only one way to perform certain task. Even simple operations like multiplication can be done in a variety of ways. Keep working hard, and don't be afraid to seek out other ways. When your grade is at stake, sometimes you just have to go with the flow, but never stop searching for others ways as well. :^D
you're the best! i was really struggling with this topic and you were able to explain in such an easy-to-understand way :) i also just love your enthusiasm. many thanks!
woahh,,, thank you very much, it's very clear and well explained. i don't know why I'm paying for school over something that I can learn better for free. hehe.... thannk you teacher, much respect
wait I'm confused. Doesn't square brackets mean less than or equal to or the opposite way and that not square brackets mean not less than or equal to? I don't get how you solved the last problem.
Ty ik now how to know if its close interval or open interval :D. I was getting confused bc i forgot what our prof taught us abt it i was too focused on solving the equation and i forgot how to know wether its close or open interval:')
i dont understand how i keep coming up with values that give me the wrong signs.... like in my homework i have to put a value less than 20, but i put 14 and its positive, and 10 turns out negative, for x-13
When solving this rational equation can I combine like terms, and set to "0" after this step (mid way through the problem): 5x-10 ≥ 4x-12 x+2 ≥ 0 x ≥ -2 Also, can I use x-3 ≥ 0 and x-2 ≥ 0 in order to test my additional points ? x ≥ 3 , x ≥ 2 sorry If I made this more complicated.
Hi, an answer 5 years later, because why not, haha. You don’t want to cancel anything in the denominator as it’s used to find the intervals (ex, in this case x=3, x=2 isn’t defined).
***** please help .. when do it become positive when putting the number on one side. Like you said, Tip no. 1... Your example number 1 and 2 are subtracting () to 0 ..
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean flipping the sign if you divide or multiply by a negative? This is one of the rules we have to follow when working with inequalities.
The way he writes is so satisfying and comforting, also he's so detailed that I understand it easily
Thanks! :^D
...and speaks...

True that brother
fuck online school all my homies hate online school
the one you mention the "uncleart steps" its real for me, Like where did that number come from

i literally love you. there’s not a single other video on youtube on harder quadratic inequalities with fractions.
Best tutorial on inequalities in youtube,
I would appreciate if you included the number line for visual learners like myself.
Great suggestion! :^D
Oh, man. You saved my life for the pre calc test I had. Thanks so much!!!
10min of your video saves me from 4 hours of classes without understanding a dime of what's going on Thanks alot Sir
Thank you, for your awesome calm soothing voice tutoring. Understood in minutes what I could not understand after weeks of class..
Wow It's SO much easier when you write it down in a number line like that. I was trying to do all of it in my head.
You exactly told the thing i was looking for....awesome
Oh my god thank you!!!!! I am Korean students who is studying pre-calc in USA, and this made me understand things way more better!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
This is the EXACT thing I wanted to learn today! Except I didn't know the term "rational inequality " as such.
Thankyou so much!!!
I wonder after visiting more than 10 websites i understood this concept here.
May God bless you.
Im still confused on the intervals😩

Sir, Thank you so much for the free Knowledge!! 🙏🙏🙏
inversely variations can you make world problems understandable ?
wow i wish i can understand this stuff
Wait shouldn’t the x value be 7/9 instead of 9/7??
9x-7 will have a 0 of 7/9 so I’m confused to why he wrote 9/7
If I'm looking at the same problem it has a -9 + 7x. Note that the x is on the 7. This will give us a zero at 9/7.
This was so helpful!!! thank you!
Help me what do I do if all the solutions are not included
8 years later, I find this to be so helpful still
Good to know! Keep up the good work! :^D
What if you have the same denominator?
I'm quite confuse. Your way of solving rational inequalities is different from other videos that I've also watched here in youtube.
why not to use multipication inverse like multiply both sides by 2-x/4 then continue solving ..... plz answer me
amazing job
you got me a A on my quiz!
My man! Thanks for teaching me the things I should already know ;D
ggreat video very easy to follow and exxactly what i was looking for

what if there's no critical value? ex: -2x^2+x-3?

Thank you sir!!! But maybe Union symbol "U" next time :)?
When solving this rational equation can I combine like terms, and set to "0" after this step (mid way through the problem): 5x-10 ≥ 4x-12
x+2 ≥ 0
x ≥ -2
Also, can I use x-3 ≥ 0 and x-2 ≥ 0 in order to test my additional points ?
x ≥ 3 , x ≥ 2
sorry If I made this more complicated.
***** why not?
Thank you Sir for clearing my doubts
