Just completed Intermediate and very disapointed that head copy just not coming to me. I can work 12 wpm with a pencil but stuck there. I found my keyboard skills hold me back with the software. I don't really feel the contest software has helped, and the skills learned with LCWO are not transfering over to help with copy on air.
You guys are always welcome to retake the Intermediate class again, or just sit in whenever you can. Daily practice is the key when mastering any language. You really can't miss a single day of practice when you're in the Intermediate class. I know life happens, so you might only be able to manage 10 mins, but even that will keep you from getting behind. It's not easy! There just isn't a short way. I don't know my final student count for the Fall Semester. Email me: cdherter@gmail.com as we get to the end of August. Happy to have you in my class! @cdherter1 I have been doing daily practice for 3 years CWA and following CWA with their software for 8 months. I even took recordings for head copy practice on holiday so I would not miss a day. I have made no improvement.. The classes are great fun but the software practice just is not really helping. Also the recorded material for head copy has not helped me.

You will get there I'm pretty sure. Don't give up. I used to practice at 25-30 wpm. Feilrate was high.... but still.... I got to know the sounds.
@geirha75 just tried to get on the air at 12-13wpm, but just can't copy what's being sent. But all the software practice shows I should be 18wpm.
