  • On this famous cycling route along the "Rhine", one of longest rivers in Europe, we (Che & Andy) pedalled from Basel to Hook of Holland covering 1000+ kms. in 9 days.
We rode through parts of Switzerland, France, Germany and Netherlands. We could witness the different culture, landscape, food and people throughout our journey. We went from saying "Merci, s'il vous plaît" to "Danke schön, bitte" to "Danke Val, alstublieft". People were nice all over. Its simply awesome.
Along the Rhine we could see hundreds of ships sailing up and down the river, non-stop working Industries, Atomic plants, large farmer lands, mountains, wine yards, flat lands, camping grounds, cities and everything else you could ask for.
This is one of very beautiful cycling route suitable for all ages.
Thanks to EuroVelo for identifying such scenic routes and building infrastructure.

@@anandasomanahalli464 What do you suggest for a cyclist coming from India, whether to get bicycle from India or buy from there.

Hi! Great video! Di you ever have any trouble finding lodging? Did you do hotels, hostels, or campsites? I'm trying to do as much research but any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, we booked our accomodations via Booking and AirBnB 1 month before our trip. It was not a problem to find accomodations. Wish you all the best for yours. Cheers

Hi Andy and Che, thank you for your video really helpful in planning my ride on my own with my 2 year old next spring/summer. Early in your video you went up and over a bridge that looked a bit awkward with the bikes I’m going to have a baby and a trailer can you tel me where that is so I can plan for that?!
Also looks like you guys packed pretty light did you take camping kit or stay in hostels/hotels?
Looks like you covered over 100km everyday, would you say that was easy cycling and how long did that take you/how many hours on the bike daily did you spend? I was aiming for 4-5hrs but not sure exactly what I might be able to achieve in that time based on the terrain though it looks pretty perfect and maybe I might be able to achieve 100km a day after all.
Do you have any advice or tips or considerations for travel but with a 2 year old on my own? (If you have kids you may have a better insight but don’t worry if not!) makes me excited for my trip seeing this!

Hello Hannah, Very impressive that you are planning with your small one. All the very best. Yes, there was one stretch where there was a Road construction underway where we had to take the bridge. I am sure there was an alternate way which we did not explore. Anyways, it was just a wonderful experience. Please go ahead. Cheers.
