    2 x Mandragora (cost 1/power 1) (spawns minion)
    2 x Heatseeker (cost 1/power 1) (spawns minion)
    2 x Skeeskee (cost 1/power 1 and rising) (when allied card destroyed raise power by 1)
    2 x Tonberry king (cost 2/power 1 and rising) (when allied cards are destroyed raise power by 2)
    2 x Amalgam (cost 1/power 1) (when destroyed adds minion that lowers power on squares above and below by 2)
    2 x Gigantoad (cost 0/power 3) (destroy and replace)
    2 x Grandhorn (cost 0/power 3) (destroy and replace)
    1 x Mindflayer (cost 2/power 1) (lower power of squares above and right *below and left by 1)
    This deck annihilates. I consistently win with a 50+ point lead. Many games it scores 80-100. Get the Tonberrys and Skeeskee's out as soon as possible, then use mindflayer to make burn squares, or play amalgam then destroy it with a grandhorn/gigantoad to get the Resurrected Amalgam in hand to again make a couple of burn squares.
    A 'burn square' is one where if you play a card on it, it immediately gets destroyed. This is the core of this deck. You throw down mandragora's and heatseekers in the burn squares. This increases the power of the skeeskee's by 1 and the tonberry's by 2 and spawns a minion in your hand to repeat the process. Once you are out of those, use a grandhorn/gigantoad to destroy the amalgam/mindlfayer. then use the last couple of gigantoads/grandhorns in the same spot boosting tonberry and skeekeee even further. By the end you may only have 4 cards on the battleground, the 2 tonberry's and the skeeskeees' but they will be worth 20-40 points.... EACH
    No card costs more than 2 to play so you can ALWAYS play and as long as you can get tonberry's and skeeskee's out early you will dominate.

    I have used a different strategy since corel, you use any card with a permanent negative -1 (I use the mind flayer) and the tonberry, I then use 2 heatseeker mushrooms and 2 of those plant looking ones that give you an extra 1 copy when played, this way you kill your own cards to boost the tonberry while also capturing spaces, I used to have another-1 card in my deck to get rid of the mind flayer before the end but now I have replace cards I just use one of them.
    I regularly score 40-50 per game and just boosted it even more by adding the gi card to my deck and doubling the tonberry up

      @@GrahfXG I use mindflayer, tonberry king and shiva with a bunch of 1 cards. you stick the tonberry in the first column, the mindflayer in the 2nd and then put your 1 power cards in any of the -1 spots, they immediately die and tonberry gets +2
      It helps to have a card that can destroy the mindflayer at the end of this then you use shiva to utilise all the empty spots

    I beat Nightmare on the second try. Yeah most of the cards listed are ones I used at some point. Most of the Gold Saucer cards are really good. Especially Space Ranger, Haunted Hotel and the Loveless cards.
    Unless you can pull out your 3 tier card in the second turn you have to play offensively or your opponent will take up the board and you’re in trouble. I use a mixture of enhancement cards like Dio and Midgardsomr with a mixture and the replacement cards to gain more points at the end if I need to. I want to try out the destroying cards like Sephiroth to get a handle on that play style. I don’t know why but I love the Johnny Card too but I think Shiva might be better to use. Yeah did a day of learning the game and I’m going for the last card, Ultimate Party Animal card. The mini games will be the death of me but it’ll help me get those dark matters I need to access the genji accessories.

  • @Tohlemiach

    My current favorite decks are Yuffie Bomb/Shiva Wipe and a three-rank rush.
    For the first one, you just advance across slowly with weak units that enfeeble when they die or get weakened, and once you control a 3x3 in the middle, you drop Yuffie on your middle card and destroy all of your other cards. Then you drop shiva and turn your whole board to ice. After that I like to use the replace cards that take the power of the replaced cards and add it to the opposite vertical as well as Gi Nattak so I can do a bit of boosting on my ice field.
    The other one relies on using cards that double raise positions and then dropping a whole bunch of three-stars with crazy range and destruction abilities. My go to starting hand is Cid and Adamantoise, since putting those together let’s you claim three spots in the middle row as all three-stars, and then you just work your way out from there with Red Dragon, Dyne, Demon Wall, and Bahamut. The insane range and damage let’s you take over your opponents territory from far range AND kill their cards at the same time. Rounds often end with me owning every space on the board and my opponent having no cards on the field. You won’t get crazy amounts of points, but you won’t need to when your opponent has zero.

    I put every common low cost buff card together, then add chocobo, ifrit, dio, ranger and gg. Im rank 8 so far and completed every Gold Saucer challenge so far. I even tried some other decks but all strategies but the buff one are kinda situationals and hard to put to work. I play card games for a long time and I loved this Queen's Blood Card Game. The only downside for me is this, the buff deck is far more powerfull and plain simple to play than the other decks.

  • @EliteBlackSash
    @EliteBlackSash 10 месяцев назад

    Cards that enhance when the enemy destroys their own cards. Lol. So even if they pull late game hijinks… + Chocobo Jockey (Win the line and Add 10) + mini chocobo (win the lane and add 3). Even if they pull stunts you still win on points lol…. Also there is another 2-power similar to space ranger, except it locks down the entire lane PLUS one to the right. These cards have all been lifesavers.
    Oh, and the cactuar. Create 2 nodes plus enhance the bottom row on the next column over. Pairing that with one of the chocobo cards to push right while also buffing the chocobo card itself and the lane. The AI almost always tries to block you down on the bottom row, which allows you to set up a trap for later.

      @@Primalliquid92I find it actually works great with the Griffon. If you basically just replaced any one other card with it, you can play the way you describe in the video, but then near the end use the griffon to "move" points from the bottom row on top of an already buff card in the middle, then use Gi Nattak to double that insanely buffed card to end up with ludicrous scores. Granted there's not really much point/need, but I love scoring ~80+ points in a single match :P.
      ETA: What's really fun is doing what I say above in one of the survival challenges where you can get Chadley to duplicate that buffed middle card onto 4 other cards. I won the nightmare challenge with losing basically every match except round 4 where I used that to score over 100 points (and that was even with me making a mistake and also the enemy stealing one of the spots he'd buff onto).

    of course i couldve just got lucky but that is highly unlikely.
    i dont agree with what you said about the nightmare challenge. they way i see it is that you want to get as many points early on as possible. because there is no winning the 5th round no matter how many cards you have left. by getting as many points early on as possible i ended up with 150+ points at the end of the 4th round and they had 0.

    Another big strat is you can just PASS your turn. If youre ahead on points just pass lol. Now why would you pass? Well if theres an empty node with no pawn slot you can literally let the power it for you to then overtake that node.

    I used a tonberry destruction deck. Got to 73 in just one lane. No way they could come back

      ahh gonna say you absolutely dont want a destruction focused deck for that haha its pretty much a 100% loss

    Still can't touch the Shadowblood Queen. She has like 25 points before I even have 10, and control of the entire board. That Emerald Witch Card I frickin useless against her.

    Has anyone actually figured out a good deck that USES the shadowblood queen card? Literally all results on google and youtube are just how to BEAT her, not how to USE her card.

    I hate Queens Blood. I beat every card boss ShadowQueen. Its just the name of the game for me is Take over the spots where i try to make sure enemy doesn’t plant. Then late game is like they can plant on their own cards which is annoying.

      Yep… you basically have to build counter decks for all of the hard opponents… or restart the game until you get very lucky with your regular deck.

      you really dont, these 3 decks i used from chapter 9 onwards for every fight, and one of them is only used in 1 gold saucer match. the other 2 decks alone are enough for every card player. you dont need to "counter" each player

      You should have cards that do the same thing

      Higher ranks opponents have like a broken mechanic because that one card they possess. Breaks the fields and left you with no options. Also in Card Carnival is difficult you have given cards you have to figure it out yourself.

    I'm disappointment that the Chocobo Jockey isn't listed in any of the decks.
    It is the most overpowered card in the game that can essentially guarantee a win. Since you only need to win a single row that it is in and you get an additional +10.
    It should be in almost any deck.

    • @Primalliquid92
      @Primalliquid92  10 месяцев назад +1

      its incredably bad once you get to endgame QB matches since thats the only gimick it has, it also no real expansion no buffs or debuffs ect. you can replace it with better cards that let you earn more than 10 points

    • @blackkat101
      @blackkat101 10 месяцев назад

      @@Primalliquid92 Hard disagree, as it depends on how you use it.
      In late game QB games, you use it as a finisher in a row that you know is going to win.
      It's only a 2 cost, but is worth 12 to the end score.
      Adds +2 to the row it is in (which isn't nothing, it could have been just +1 and it would have still been great).
      It doesn't require any special planning like the Loveless card, which requires you to have good placing AND control of the board so that the enemy cannot take advantage of it.
      It is a simple but powerful card that can easily win matches, even if you lost out on two other rows because of the insane +10 it gives for winning said row.

    I just genuinely hate this game. And the fact that a lot of content is locked behind this stupid mini game.
    It’s like you playing call of duty and to unlock new rifle you required to win the starcraft match vs hard AI - sure i can do this with lots of practice but why the hell should i?!

    • @Primalliquid92
      @Primalliquid92  10 месяцев назад +3

      by that logic theres no point in you ever playing a game, it sounds like you just want everything done for you? and theres nothing behind queens blood other than more queens blood. you are litarally never forced to play it

    This card game is the most annoying part of FF7. They should do like Gwent in Witcher and make it optional. I shouldn’t be forced to play to progress. It gives me bad memories from FF8 and FF9 with their dumb card games.
