You know what’s really scary. What if this was someone’s first exposure to ff7. They hear about this amazing plot and story. They put the game in and it’s NOTHING BUT FUCKING CARDS!!
I love queens blood. I unfortunately usually dislike most card games. Triple triad from ff8 is still the goat. This one is probably second. Some of the late game opponents can be annoying but manageable.
@@Primalliquid92 cool, character builds, looking for those, now im just going with the flow, is something like a no materia run across all chapters for you also?(as a challenge) :)
Dio, Cid and Gi Nattak are all too OP to not play imo - especially if you're gonna play Loveless. For the final story match I think Emerald is a pretty unhelpful card tbh, Chimera in the middle column + Gi Nattak over it as the last card basically solo's the entire match. Rictus is the next best for the upper and lower rows, and then just other turbo setup cards like Cid, Space Ranger etc etc for pushing those lanes.
Ive yet to get to the end game QB games in the GC do ill take your word for it. However those decks look terrible. There are so many op cards like the jockey +10 in a lane. The OP flame trooper + cockatrice where you can use them to destroy your own cards for free slots. Mixing replacement cards with midgarsomr + tonberry king. Another big strat is you can just PASS your turn. If youre ahead on points just pass lol. Now why would you pass? Well if theres an empty node with no pawn slot you can literally let the power it for you to then overtake that node.
Has anyone actually figured out a good deck that USES the shadowblood queen card? Literally all results on google and youtube are just how to BEAT her, not how to USE her card.
Still can't touch the Shadowblood Queen. She has like 25 points before I even have 10, and control of the entire board. That Emerald Witch Card I frickin useless against her.
I hate Queens Blood. I beat every card boss ShadowQueen. Its just the name of the game for me is Take over the spots where i try to make sure enemy doesn’t plant. Then late game is like they can plant on their own cards which is annoying.
you really dont, these 3 decks i used from chapter 9 onwards for every fight, and one of them is only used in 1 gold saucer match. the other 2 decks alone are enough for every card player. you dont need to "counter" each player
Higher ranks opponents have like a broken mechanic because that one card they possess. Breaks the fields and left you with no options. Also in Card Carnival is difficult you have given cards you have to figure it out yourself.
I'm disappointment that the Chocobo Jockey isn't listed in any of the decks. It is the most overpowered card in the game that can essentially guarantee a win. Since you only need to win a single row that it is in and you get an additional +10. It should be in almost any deck.
its incredably bad once you get to endgame QB matches since thats the only gimick it has, it also no real expansion no buffs or debuffs ect. you can replace it with better cards that let you earn more than 10 points
@@Primalliquid92 Hard disagree, as it depends on how you use it. In late game QB games, you use it as a finisher in a row that you know is going to win. It's only a 2 cost, but is worth 12 to the end score. Adds +2 to the row it is in (which isn't nothing, it could have been just +1 and it would have still been great). It doesn't require any special planning like the Loveless card, which requires you to have good placing AND control of the board so that the enemy cannot take advantage of it. It is a simple but powerful card that can easily win matches, even if you lost out on two other rows because of the insane +10 it gives for winning said row.

Level 30 beat all queens blood challenges and duels with a level 3 deck. Enhancing cards and replacement cards are just op nobody talks about it
I like using the midardsormr and a bunch of replacement cards.
Midgardsormr, cards with effects on destruction, cards that generate another cards, 2X BOMBS and replacements = WIN.
You know what’s really scary. What if this was someone’s first exposure to ff7. They hear about this amazing plot and story. They put the game in and it’s NOTHING BUT FUCKING CARDS!!
Alot of those cards aren’t available till later chapters tho?
chapter 9 and realisticly theres no hard challenges before then which even warrents you thinking about your deck
Can we get a gameplay video of you playing these decks so we can see them in action
that will happen when i do my nightmare gold saucer guide
I love queens blood. I unfortunately usually dislike most card games. Triple triad from ff8 is still the goat. This one is probably second. Some of the late game opponents can be annoying but manageable.
Tifa Jockey and Yuffie Bomb are the 2 best decks
i still use the begining Deck even dho im a blood knight but ima try thosethey seem fun
build video for each character next? wanted to see what u been cooking up.
build video will likely be in 2 days or so, still have some tweaks to make as i still think theres plenty more to bring out the full potential of yet.
@Primalliquid92 cant wait!
@@Primalliquid92 cool, character builds, looking for those, now im just going with the flow, is something like a no materia run across all chapters for you also?(as a challenge) :)
When it was Required for the story I ended up dropping out of the tournament. I don't like card games anyway so
thanks for letting us know...?
Dio, Cid and Gi Nattak are all too OP to not play imo - especially if you're gonna play Loveless.
For the final story match I think Emerald is a pretty unhelpful card tbh, Chimera in the middle column + Gi Nattak over it as the last card basically solo's the entire match.
Rictus is the next best for the upper and lower rows, and then just other turbo setup cards like Cid, Space Ranger etc etc for pushing those lanes.
I am using this deck for the nightmare match get a good lead and then get smashed on round 3 and go down by 17.....
I used a tonberry destruction deck. Got to 73 in just one lane. No way they could come back
did you do the nightmare challenge in the gold saucer with that deck?
Not that far into the game yet. Work kicking my butt
ahh gonna say you absolutely dont want a destruction focused deck for that haha its pretty much a 100% loss
You're a Lord
Has anyone actually figured out a good deck that USES the shadowblood queen card? Literally all results on google and youtube are just how to BEAT her, not how to USE her card.
Still can't touch the Shadowblood Queen. She has like 25 points before I even have 10, and control of the entire board. That Emerald Witch Card I frickin useless against her.
I just stack my deck with replacements and legendary cards lol
My best scores are 137 138 and 139.
Tonberry King plus Mindflayer = GG
I hate Queens Blood. I beat every card boss ShadowQueen. Its just the name of the game for me is Take over the spots where i try to make sure enemy doesn’t plant. Then late game is like they can plant on their own cards which is annoying.
Yep… you basically have to build counter decks for all of the hard opponents… or restart the game until you get very lucky with your regular deck.
you really dont, these 3 decks i used from chapter 9 onwards for every fight, and one of them is only used in 1 gold saucer match. the other 2 decks alone are enough for every card player. you dont need to "counter" each player
You should have cards that do the same thing
Higher ranks opponents have like a broken mechanic because that one card they possess. Breaks the fields and left you with no options. Also in Card Carnival is difficult you have given cards you have to figure it out yourself.
I used 1 deck that I slightly updated from time to time until BQ. Great minigame :)
Wasnt too hard. Lost few times to the Queen but changed my deck a little a was no problem.
😎👍👍
Mmmmm...k
This card game is the most annoying part of FF7. They should do like Gwent in Witcher and make it optional. I shouldn’t be forced to play to progress. It gives me bad memories from FF8 and FF9 with their dumb card games.
I just genuinely hate this game. And the fact that a lot of content is locked behind this stupid mini game.
It’s like you playing call of duty and to unlock new rifle you required to win the starcraft match vs hard AI - sure i can do this with lots of practice but why the hell should i?!
by that logic theres no point in you ever playing a game, it sounds like you just want everything done for you? and theres nothing behind queens blood other than more queens blood. you are litarally never forced to play it
I played 20 hours between the grasslands and Junon and i had to quit and uninstall FF Rebirth due to how many mini games there are.
